I've often said I wish we could get a QT in our city in CA but quickly remember that we don't have personable young people who would treat you as being valued as the associates back here do. They are, however, quick and efficient....but no matter the time of day (or night...they are open 24 hours), the person taking your money ALWAYS has time to say, 'Thank-you. See you later.' They've got a free air machine outside, which seems to be some sort of form of local entertainment, because on each and every visit, someone was pulled up to that machine putting air in the tires. The one time that I thought that maybe I'd escape and not see that happen, out of the clear blue, a kid appears out of thin air (maybe he dropped from one of the storm clouds?) and pulled up to the Free Air Machine to top off the front tire of his bicycle. Just to see if I could possibly catch them at their worst, I purchased something like 284 bottles of Coke Cherry Zero while in town. Each visit was exactly the same...almost like the Groundhog Day of Convenience Stores....in a good sort of way! So if you are rolling through B'ville on route 75, stop in and say hi.
