Yeehaw!! Best line dancing spot in northeast Ohio (and I've been to 4 different venues!). Everyone is super friendly- from the bouncer, to DJ, to bartenders! Drinks here are cheap and the food is decent. Come on Wednesday at 7:30 for line dancing lessons (bring $5 cash to get in). Wednesdays are 18 year old + nights and get very crowded. Fridays are much more fun and better quality dancing with 21 year old +. Have many a fun memories at this spot and love bringing my friend here! read more

It is always very crowded which not much room on the dance floor. They also play random music not just classic country music to line dance too. Wings are good and so are the drinks and staff members. read more

Super great time! Fast bartenders, there was no fee to get in during the weekend, and the bathrooms were clean.

Beer can range from $5-$7, food is available till 11pm. Staff are nice. Was hoping to see two steppin, but didn't stay long enough to know. Crowd ages were more young 20/30's than old around 9pm on a Friday night. read more

On a recent date night with the wife, we went out to dinner nearby and then wanted to stop in for a beer. My wife, being from Puerto Rico, has never been to a country dancing, bull riding, live band bar before. When we got to the door, there was a $5 cover charge. I had forgotten about the cover charge since my last visit three years prior. I showed my wife what the inside looked like and then we agreed to leave. I didn't want to pay $10 extra just to have a beer. So we went across the street to another bar. We'll be back though, but at an hour when they're not charging an entrance fee. read more

My fiancé and I live 2 hours away from this bar and have made the trip twice so far to go out there on recommendation from a friend who used to live nearby and went often. We both love this bar and wish we had one like this where we're from. They have had some really great live performers and the line dancing is fun too! It can be pretty intimidating to get out there because the ones that go out to dance are locals and really know what they are doing but as I have made the effort to go out, I always have locals coming over and trying to help lead me. It is so nice and very fun! I'd love to go on a night they have line dancing lessons sometime. Would highly recommend to anyone for a night out! read more

Last night was my first time here. It's kind of a hike from my house so I don't know how often I'll be back. We went on ladies night so there was no cover and $1 Bud Lights until 9pm. None of us knew how to line dance so we didn't participate, but enjoyed watching some of the dancers. The majority of the dancers seemed like they were pretty serious, knew a different dance for every song, and didn't want you on the dance floor if you didn't really know what you were doing. The staff was friendly and they had a really good live band (County Line) playing. Don't know that I'd go back until I learned a couple of the dances. While it was fun to watch, it would've been better to participate. read more

Came here for a sold out Craig Morgan show for the first time last weekend and wasn't sure what to expect, it is a very nice, large bar, a lot of room to dance, and a lot of places to sit which is nice, only downfall is they had about 3 bartenders at each bar and about 100 people in line at all times, so service was very slow. We eventually just stopped drinking because we were missing half the concert waiting in line. Other than that, the bathrooms were clean, security and staff was friendly, we will be back! read more

We have visited Thirsty Cowboys twice, each experience had some positives and some negatives. Positives....Very spaced out, riding bull, pool tables and friendly staff. Negatives....Paying a cover charge for either no live band or a very unknown mediocre band. Drinks are pricey. And if your looking to dance, but not line dance, don't even think about it. There's a line dance for EVERY song, and if you want to do your own thing you will definitely be told it's not welcomed. We like country music, but we don't LOVE country music, like belt buckle, cowboy hat, line dancing country. We've decided the atmosphere isn't for us all and all. read more

The wife and I went there on 9-16-17.They had a band.The band was not that good.It took them 2hours for sound check . They didn't start to play until 9:30.I ordered The cheese burger with bacon and deep fried macaroni bites.It was awesome one of the best burger s I've had this summer.My wife had a chicken philly sandwich.Sandwiches came with real fresh cut fries.So the the food was really good.But you have to pick up your food at the kitchen window.Did not care for that. No waitress.This is real honkey tonk.Lots of line dancing.And a bull for the adventurous.Over all this club is a Gem in Medina Ohio. For anyone who loves country music . Stopped in for the first time for the Craig Morgan concert and was very disappointed... The sound quality was horrible and unless you are on the RAISED dance floor in front of the stage, you can barely see anything! From the back where we were, the sounds was horrible... could just make out what song he was singing and all of the instruments blended together. Waste of money and I felt bad for the performer. Would expect more from a venue that hosts so many "concerts" read more

This is one premier nightlife establishments outside of Akron. Not only was the staff friendly, but there is live music, line dancing, and a mechanical bull for entertainment. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who visit Northeast Ohio in the future. read more

Loud, obnoxious, and overpriced, you only want to go here if you like riding horses or decided that wearing country boots makes you "country". The first thing I noticed was how disgustingly unclean the place is. Every table seems like it hasn't been cleaned with anything other than beer from the same night in roughly six months. It looks like a barn inside and is just as clean and loud. Proceed with caution. read more
