It used to be the home to hundreds of sugar workers back in the days when they used to grow cane in Wailua and Mokuleia. STORE: has all sorts of apparel, boards, wet suits. Dressing room is the bathroom. Hilarious art work scattered throughout the store. My favorite one was: LIVE FREE, DELETE INSTAGRAM. So funny. PRICE: standard pricing here, not much cheaper than the mall, but that's probably set by the vendor, for instance, men's Van's shirt $25.00, but still a good price, especially if it's a design you really want. This location is rich with history, and it's befitting that this little antique shop is sitting in the middle of an area that goes back in time. I am old enough to remember the Waialua Sugar Mill burning cane back in the 90's as I drove to Mokuleia Beach and seeing black debris of flying burnt sugar cane drift across my car windshield, along with smoke. The mill closed down in 1996 then became abandoned over time, then opened back up with new shops and little local stores, like this one. It's a very tiny store, no bigger than a small studio, but has a variety of really nice antiques crammed with vintage Pyrex, glassware, clothing, Pan-Am bags, hat boxes, costume jewelry, and anything else you care to explore. The owner Etsuko is super friendly and we spent a while discussing vintage clothing, barware, jewelry and the finer things that were important in life in the days when things were meant to last and not fall apart after a season of use. It is located in a house that has been converted into a retail shop. It is quaint and unassuming. It has some major brand inventory--but the majority of its stock is clothing and accessories of their own design. They have some designs that feature a "bridge" (a nod to the nearby bridge that crosses the Anahulu River), and some designs that feature a rooster (a wink to all of those feral chickens that you see running around). You can go to their website for online shopping--but the online shop does not have all of the items available in store. Sometimes I think the term "authentic" is overused nowadays; but the shop does feel "of a place".

Though no guava is found here like the fruit some of the items are found here in Hawai'i as this Hale'iwa Store Lots shop is filled with various cute items for women it's a great place to find items to gift or to add to your wants. Browsing around I enjoyed the various items the carry from beachwear and accessories to jewelry and various totes and even a fun puzzle postcard sharing the aloha spirit is very fun and unique here along with shirts with the local fun sayings had me smiling with a fun way to express your vibe for the day. The service here seems very friendly as she was very into the conversation with a guest that went on and on is great as I was busy browsing some of the items was quite pricey though do carry some unique items but it was a nice and comfortable place to shop.
