Tiny gallery but one of my favorites to visit. Parking is fairly easy but when they do shows during the weekends it can get super packed inside. There's a great, rotating roster of artists that show here and I don't mind making the hour long drive into the depths of LA to enjoy my brief visits to this place. There's a bathroom and they serve wine occasionally so it's a win win. It always feels like a laid back but interesting experience.

"Enchantress" (2016) Definitely my favorite piece! Made it on the last day for Interlude.

I absolutely adore this little gallery & because of The ThinkSpace Art Gallery, I got to see Audrey Kawasaki's works! She is one of the many artists that I adore and have studied when I was in high school and the works are especially beautiful in person that pictures cannot do it any justice! The gallery itself was easy to find even though it was my first time finding this place! Parking was found in 2 minutes or so for me as I visited on a Saturday around 2:30PM-3PM. You park through the parking meters right next to ThinkSpace. I would highly suggest you come visit the gallery for 30 minutes or so as it really is small but worth it as they do present interesting artists (I would check their website or Instagram). Not only that but visiting the gallery is FREE!! So why not? :)

A must see in person. So real live like paintings. I took too many pictures to post.

By far the best gallery on the strip. I had a great time here. All the art was amazing. I found myself staring at Matthew Grabeisky paintings that look just like an exact photograph. Totally breath taking. I also couldn't get enough of Alex Yanes wooden art piece - great presentation and the gallery made sure to give each art piece their space. My fav gallery on the strip!

I found out about this place because of Audrey Kawasaki. http://i-seldom-do.livejournal.com/ http://www.sourharvest.com/category/thinkspace-artists/audrey-kawasaki-thinkspace-artists/ Thinkspace is actually curating up to July 4th in the London Miles gallery in London. Last time I went was during the Culver City Art Walk. Fun. Wine. Art. Music. Love.

Pros: -free parking lot. If by any chance that lot is full, there is 2 hour free street parking directly outside of the parking lot. I visited on a Friday a little after 2pm and parking was still available in the lot -the Yoshimoto Exhibit was in two different sections. One was in the main area by the gift shop area and the other you had to exit the building and walk through the garden (that is where the large painting is on display) -the exhibit was free! They do have a little gift shop area where you could purchase things like books, tote bags, hats and postcards. Cons: -none! Overall, an enjoyable experience. Because there weren't descriptions of the art pieces, my visit was brief. However, glad I got to see this exhibit.

Huge fan of the free admission LOL…read more it's very spacious and quiet, i came when there was the yoshitomo nara exhibit! i liked the selection of merch they had in their small bookstore, i got a very nice tote of the nara exhibit for like $20. lowkey not a fan of the security guard following me thru the rooms like i am not going to steal anything. those nara sculptures were minimum 4 feet tall do you think i could've fit that in my baguette bag. one star off for that bc they had cameras like just check me thru those

It was fun to walk around and look at all of the interesting art work. The staff at WWA Gallery were very friendly and nice. They served wine and beer and an assortment of snacks. WWA Gallery is very unique and very welcoming and friendly to the public. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Big fan of this gallery. I was here this past weekend for their "I Believe in Unicorns, too"…read moreexhibit and I loved the layout and openness of the space. Some galleries, you're surrounded by amazing art- but it's hard to see it because you're jam packed like sardines. I felt like there was plenty of room to walk, mingle and hang out without being on top of each other. Besides the featured gallery, the venue hosts a variety of other artists' pieces in the back and side areas. Once we were done taking in all of the unicorn pieces, we got to enjoy the rest of what the place had to offer. Now, there aren't a TON of other pieces, but there are little sections dedicated to smaller shows with a variety of different themes. Based on some of the advertisements for upcoming shows- it looks like they host a good mix of themes while supporting smaller artists in the process. Being opening night, the staff really had their stuff together. It seemed like a lot of people were purchasing prints, but it was very organized and everything was quick. They set up an awesome photo area with a man dressed in a unicorn for patrons to take photos with and offered some complimentary wines for you to sip on while perusing. I loved this area of Culver City, too. I've never been down here, but liked there were a ton of restaurants and bars in the area to go before/after. Parking is a cinch- just park on the street nearby (just watch the signs) as most of the street parking is free after 8PM. If you're unlucky- they do have lots all over for a small fee. I will be back!

On my first visit, the Culver City Book Fair was occupying the back garden space and it was a lot fun to walk through browsing through books and chatting to publishers. The museum itself was a hodge podge of Cold War artifacts (statues, Soviet books, assorted items like cameras and recording machines and mementoes) displayed along with art on the walls. Local California-artists are sometimes represented with their photographs and painting also taking up space during some of their special exhibits, as the curators try to align the theme of communism with left-wing ideas of social justice and racial discrimnation. Beyond the art on the walls, however, and far more interesting, are LOTS of special events and regular programs like (free) yoga, meditation, lectures/talks, amazing jazz music on certain evenings. The museum sends out a newsletter monthly listing all the upcoming events. All in all a fantastic (cost-free) resource for the Culver City community and for the Westside of LA in general.
