Not a friendly location, set in an alley in the middle of an industrial park a decent hike from any public transit and nothing else nearby making it worthwhile walking past. The owner's attitude is well known. The photos provided look nice, but the owner has a penchant for passing off post-war items or even new replicas as "surplus." Phoned ahead to check on items I was looking for. Owner advised me he'd be out for a short time which saved me from not wasting time. Stopped in when he said he would be there and found he was very helpful. Ammunition, charger clip prices were not inflated and reasonable. Owner is friendly, very helpful and knows his stuff. Excellent selection of ammunition, ranging from rarer ammo types to old surplus. Plenty of accessories, bayonets and ammo pouches for old military rifles (SKS, Mosin Nagants, Mauser Rifles, Enfields to name a few). Also has a decent selection of WWII German stuff too, which is a bonus given the rarity of stores willing to carry that type of product. This is definitely one of the few "real" surplus stores left and is only limited by it's relatively small size (but makes up for size with a high turnover rate, there's always something new!) Went in to go get a PT shirt, I wanted to get a medium but the owner advised I get a large, which didn't wind up fitting. When I went to return the shirt for an exchange the owner directed me to his no returns policy. Normally I would not argue with that policy however buying the size the owner advised and not being exchanged I found very disappointing. I went to a different surplus store immediately afterwards and had no problems. read more

Pretty small place/selection. The owner sure isn't very friendly. Received no greeting when I walked in, despite being the only customer there. Couldn't get a straight answer out of him either. Still purchased something and his attitude didn't cheer up one bit. Won't be going back. Thanks for the boots though. read more

One thing to expect from the owner is that he will treat you like a dick unless you're planning on laying down a grand or two into his store. I asked for prices and he went on a rant about how he only takes wealthy customers and i should only be there if I'm going to buy a bulk load of merchandise. To sum it up go somewhere else for military surplus unless you have money in the bank and could care less about the owners attitude. read more
