Initial follow up for quote and consult was great. The employee provided me with a lot of information to make sure that I know what to expect with my printing request. After the initial request I never received any response back after I decided to use their services to print my items that I already had created in STL format. Calls were either unanswered or the person helping me told me he was very busy with other projects. Being a customer I should not have to go out of my way to constantly ask if they are ever going to work on my printing service that I have asked for. Now that it has past my deadline to get my project printed I need to request 3D printing services from another provider at expedited cost because I trusted my project to be responded to in a timely manner. Hopefully this was an isolated case and I am still very impressed by how knowledgeable this company is with providing all the information that is required to educate those who need their printing services. read more

INCREDIBLE quality of service. We emailed at least 20 STL files to have printed on Thingify's Objet machine. Billing was seamless and everything was ready for pickup the very next day. Referred to this company by a 3D modeler who was swamped and could not take on new work. They were sent specs. Despite requests to send email for final approval, none were sent. Instead they mailed the 3D rendering, which would be fine if it was a draft copy for approval. We made notes and took photos of where it was not built to spec and when we contacted them with corrections, they said that was the final piece and please pay the bill. Unprofessional. read more

The item I was trying to have made wouldn't have been the greatest quality if I had used 3d printing & would cost quite a bit to get a 3d cad design made. Instead of just trying to sell me on it, they pointed out that it might not be the best candidate for 3d printing. That's the integrity thats missing from most businesses.I salute you guys for being so honest and helpful. I only give yelp reviews when I'm pissed, or impressed. You guys are great. I reached out to the Thingify group for a custom fit cosplay item. Providing them with the 3d files, they immediately reviewed their integrity and alerted me to issues that could arise from the current models as well as provided suggestions on what to adjust. They provided me with detailed information on material type differences and even price matched a competitor. Overall I would rate their customer service a 5/5 and judging by the samples I have seen printed, they meticulously handle each small piece with care and detail to make sure everything was just right. So as I was enjoying a bowl of noodles, an idea for a dual purpose utensil struck me! Sadly, at the time, I couldn't do anything about this ridiculous/brilliant idea. Forward a few days, I mention it to a friend and she refers me to thingify. So I decided to reach out to the gang at thingify. I was so glad I did! The staff was VERY knowledgeable. BEWARE!!! Be careful what you sign for with these guys. They will make you sign a waiver indemnifying them in case your 3d print doesn't work with full knowledge that your print may not come out due to faulty machinery. This can cost you a lot of money. I have been screwed by these guys, it cost over $1000 for a project that did not even print and they refused even a partial refund. Do NOT use these guys, there are much better and ethical 3d printers out there!! read more

These guys are legit! I work in the technology sector with an emphasis in conceptual design. I needed a 3D prototype fabricated out of a relatively demanding transparent material within hours. Ben and his boys (and gals :)) pulled through. The quality of the print was per specification, looked great and on time. Worst company ever. Don't trust them as they will screw you at the last minute. My final presentation got ruined thanks to them, with their broken and old 3d printers. I had to drive all the way to Irvine from DTLA to pick up a box filled with powder. And they refused to even give me a partial refund. read more

As an educator, and one who teaches technology, I always aspire to introduce my students to skills that they can and will continue to grow, especially in this technology driven society. When I began teaching coding and 3-D printing (primarily CAD), I worked hard to make some friends in the industry who I knew would help me to give my students experiences they would remember forever. They have generously hosted field trips to their 16 Technology Dr., so that my students can see a variety of printers and materials for 3-D printing first-hand.
