Aaron was very friendly by my standard, but if your idea of friendly is people making small-talk with you, I can't speak to that. I don't expect or even want a bunch of small-talk from people. I'm not a talkative person myself, at least not with people I don't know, so I always appreciate when that is picked up on instead of giving me small-talk questions the entire time. Aaron did his job and he did it well, and that's what I care about the most. I'd highly recommend Aaron and his barber shop to anyone wanting a great traditional cut whether it's just a routine cut or for a special occasion. Make sure you call ahead to get on the list because they don't take appointments. In my opinion it works a lot better this way and you can wait at home instead of waiting at the shop for an appointment that will inevitably be late anyway.

I'm not sure if the person that did it didn't know how to sharpen the razor or was just afraid to cut me, but I literally walked out with a face full of stubble - just marginally better than when I came in. The only positive was that the hot towels were nice. Management is advised to make sure their staff are adequately trained in how to do a proper shave. (I didn't say anything at the time as not ruin the otherwise great birthday outing my wife giving me.)
