This was a really nice barbershop right off of South Jennings in Fort Worth. They have a really nice decor in the inside. Also, I will mention there is a lot of parking spots it's actually across the street which is only about 10 FT away. You can also park next to the actual barbershop, which I will mention is underneath a apartment complex called South 400. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely lady. We got prices as soon as we walked in and asked questions. They are very upfront and very welcoming. I believe I got a welcome from about four employees when we walked in! Nice! They have beer and water, and I believe I saw a coffee machine but it wasn't on. As you can see from the price picture that I posted, the prices are fair, not cheap but my fiancé's haircut looked amazing honestly. You get what you pay for. And the customer service is really why we are coming back as well. They treat you like in A-status client. The music is a little bit of a mix, I heard a little bit of hip-hop that is appropriate, then I heard a little bit throwback like TLC, then I heard some Mexican music, so it's really a mix but it's all appropriate. Solid Haircut. So, being naive, I did not realize how popular the barbershop thing has become. I tried to walk into a few shops and both said they were booked for the day, but I ended up snagging up someone's cancellation later on that day. Located on the ground floor in one of the new mixed use apartment buildings along Jennings. I found street parking and walked right in but I believe I saw a sign that said there is a garge around back. Upon walking in for my appointment, I was offered beer, coffee or water. I partook in a Modelo and sat down and saw they had a foosball table for patrons that are waiting but it didn't take long for my barber to pull me back. Jessica did a great job, despite the fact I didn't give her much to work with on what I was trying to do with my hair. The outcome was not too shabby. They had about 10-12 chairs and all of them stayed busy while I was there so be sure to make an appointment if you come. read more

Was a good customer of this place. Always tipped well a respectful customer. I understand point of appointments even though I do no like them. I'm am old school. Should be first come first serve. Its a haircut not a doctors appointment. I draw the line though when I was told that I would have to pay for my son's haircut appointment that he was not able to make. It's not about the money it about the principle. I have haply waited when I would show up on time and always be waiting an Xtra 10 to 15 mins somtimes30 mins for the previous haircut to be done. Do you think they would pay me for my time or give me a discount. Hell no! Unfortunately I will not wast any more of my time or money on this place. P.S. Regardless of the fact that your hair will grow back after it's cut, I lose trust in a barber who is shown a picture of how I wanted my hair cut to be styled differently and then they only fade the sides and not cut the top in a way I could style it like the photo. The barber I originally started going here for was no longer on their website to be able to make an appointment with, so I tried someone new hoping they would do a good job; they did not. Let's just say I will not be going here again and making sure that my family or friends do not go here. The positive? Staff was friendly, can't say they weren't. read more

I found this spot after I moved to Fort Worth last year and have been a regular here ever since. Best barbershop in all of Funkytown hands down. First off, make sure to make an appointment in advance because they stay busy with clients. Once you come in, the front desk will offer you beer, coffee, or water. Perfect welcome in my opinion. I always grab a beer because after a long day at work, why not? The whole atmosphere is awesome and chill. They always got great music playing and you can tell the barbers enjoy working there. As most guys usually are, I'm quite picky when it comes to getting a top notch haircut. This place will provide that for you. My go-to barber is Sergio and he's awesome. He knows what to do and does an excellent job. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a dope fade and clean cut. The entire place has got the best vibe, it's clean, modern, and happening. I got my wedding haircut by Sergio and it was on point per the usual. I also grabbed a District sticker from the front desk & put it on my laptop; reppin' the shop whenever I go. A very clean, professional and efficient barbershop in Fort Worth, which has now suddenly become inundated with barbershops. Carlos did an excellent job with my request, since I had a very specific beard trim and cut that I was looking for (a fade-style beard, and a very professional, somewhat old-fashioned haircut). Carlos took his time with my beard, and while I've been to other places that had me in and out in 20 minutes, he spent almost 45 minutes on me. The result? Well...... I had really high hopes for Distrcit because they are always busy when I try to schedule appointments so I was very excited whenever I did get an apt. to come in. I was stoked because it was the day before my wedding. I normally wouldn't be one to complain, but the barber JSuavez cut my hair and was extremely disappointing and made the entire experience something I wish I could go back and undo. I told him this was my first time here, and that my wedding was tomorrow so I wanted to come get a nice haircut(because I hadn't had a good one in over a year; and the entire time from the time i sat down I think he said a total of 15 words and treated me like an inconvenience. The sad part is he could have given me the best haircut in the world (which he did make it look normal again vs what I had before, but nothing special) and it wouldn't have mattered because you can't treat your customers like they are inconveniencing your day, especially not when you are a paying a premium for a $30 haircut. This place when I walked in was everything I expected and a super nice spot for a trim, I just wish all of the barbers here treated the place with the respect it deserves and what I would assume the owners would want them to strive for; especially towards its customers. read more

Took my son here for the second time to get his hair cut and they have been so kind, professional and down to earth. I've seen their work and they are all so amazing. My sons hair is so difficult to work with because he's mixed. What makes it even more difficult for them to work with is the fact that my son is two and would not sit still. Ryder and his paw patrol team could save my boy from throwing and tantrum. But through the whole hour, Alex got it done. The whole team made me feel comfortable while my child was embarrassing.. s/o to the whole team for dealing with my little munchkin. After writing this I realized the first thing I should do is make a public apology to my husband for finding this place and helping him book his first appointment there. I am so sorry honey. Now on to my review.... Update: I want to say I wrote the review below before my husband called the shop and asked to come in the next day for someone to try and fix his hair...They did see him and he went back and they did the best the could to try and correct his hair...so take your chances and if they mess up, they'll try and fix it. ...... OMG!!!! Noooooooo. Now how long is it going to take my husbands hair to grow out??? I can barely stand to look at his head because it's SOOO uneven and sticking up in all kind of strange places!! Did the person cutting it really work as a barber? Maybe he was hung over? Had a car wreck on the way to work? Ran over his Childs favorite Teddy Bear? People can have all kinds of bad days that we don't know about but if you're cutting someone's hair and can't perform that day please call in sick and don't mess other people's days (weeks because that's what it's going to take to grow out. A LOT of weeks!!) My husband been going to the competing barbershop whom we both loved but their hours didn't work for him. I found this shop on a local neighborhood Facebook page but most of the women raved about how they did their kids hair and mentioned one of the owners, Edward. My husband went to Luis bc Edward wasn't available on the online schedule. After reading the great FB reviews I did my due diligence and I came to my trusted Yelp, saw 5 stars and we booked him with the first available person. Their website is great and they have nice looking people on the site and all of their hair looks good. Never imagining JUST HOW AWFUL it could end up. I'm just going to say it's BAD. Like TERRIBLE. Like worst than a beauty school person on their first day in hair cutting class. My husband had a great haircut going in there but it had been 6 weeks and he was really feeling the itch. I was even telling him just how great his hair looked before he went in but understood he needed it cut. In looking back he should have taking a 1/2 day off work to go to the other place. Great experience here. I'm a yelper and found this spot on yelp. Made an appointment a day before and they got me in a little after lunch which was perfect timing for me and the barbershop. Upon arrival, the friendly front desk gal Leya (hope I spelled that right) greeted me with a smile and offered me a drink while I sat down to wait. This was my first visit and I had the pleasure of getting a chair with barber Ben G. He was very friendly and professional. The cut took about 20 minutes and was topped off with a hot shave on the neck line. That alone is awesome and nostalgic. My haircut looks awesome and I feel great. As parents we wanted to see how good our 2 young boys (around 10 yrs old) could look with a truly professional cut. Some friends raved about District Barbershop. So we scheduled, setup payment, even activated the auto reminders on our calendars online. The wait wasn't long and they had Foose ball and drinks offered to pass the time. The Ft. Worth location on Jennings St. was clean, modern and was all windows on 2 sides. So very relaxing beautiful place.. Now on to the reason we were there I guess. I truly have never seen a better haircut on my two little men!!! The attention to detail was amazing! The cut perfect! Price was $25 per child and so worth it. As a professional pilot I travel the country every week. It has become ritual to find a local barbershop every 7-8 days regardless of where I am. I use Yelp to locate good barbers and have never been led astray. With that being said, this new barber shop is worthy of checking out. Upon arrival I was offered a beer while I waited- which was awesome. My barber did an excellent job on my fade and razor cut of my hair lines. They razor your ENTIRE hairline to your liking. Many barbers don't take the time or have the skill to do this. District has skilled barbers and the right tools to do a great job. While waiting I watched each barber as they cut and faded each of their clients with skill. I was impressed with all of their work and everyone left happy. This is a really clean barber shop with a great vibe. There are 6 chairs and every single one was occupied when I went. I was offered a choice between beer, water, and/or coffee. I choice the beer which was a local craft brew blonde ale. They even served it in a Koozie which I was told to keep! I got my haircut by Alex who was very professional and friendly. I requested a fade and minor trim on top and was EXTREMELY happy with the service. He would stop periodically to see if I was satisfied with the haircut thus far. Everyone has been complimenting my haircut. Thanks Alex!
