This review comes 5 years after my treatment at the Theta Wellness Center in Provo, UT. I traveled to the center from out of state, on the recommendation of an acquaintance, seeking help with severe depression and anxiety. At first, the treatment felt great. I was happier than I had been in a long time. I loved the light bed and the energy work. The staff was nice. But the problems didn't become clear to me until years after I had completed treatment and returned home. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the theta chamber. I know it is well-intended. And it does its job, but it does it out of the context of the whole human experience. It encourages "normal" levels of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. This sounds like a good thing, but those neurotransmitters help you interpret your life experiences--what behaviors should be rewarded and which ones should be avoided. In my case, the theta chamber treatment threw me so far out of balance I wasn't aware of it until years later. Things may have changed in the last 5 years since I received treatment. However, I would recommend caution when choosing any method that would treat one part of you in isolation of others. And by "others," I mean the habits, relationships, environments, and life experiences that play a part in shaping you to be the person you have become. I'm in a good place and happy with my progress. I found other options that work well for me. And I hope the same for all those who are looking for healing and balance! read more

My experience with Theta Wellness Center was so positive. First of all, I appreciated the time spent with me the day before and the day of my appointment. What could have been an emotionally overwhelming experience was beautiful and transformative instead. Next, after my scheduled time in the Theta chamber, I was in such an open and "clean-slate" state, that my NLP session with Mike Simpson got to the very core of my core issues. I didn't even realize what my problems were, let alone the source of them. Needless to say, the chance to "get it all out" has changed me dramatically. The awareness of my life-long self conflict has helped me avoid triggers, which has kept me floating along in a state of bliss. I am so grateful to Theta Wellness Center for introducing me to ME! read more

My experience at the Theta Wellness center was magical. I walked in with an open mind and left with an open heart. The guidance, teaching and hypnosis received from Mike was rich in wisdom and offered me tools to utilize in my healing. I am receiving benefits weeks after and will continue to as the tools are useful. read more

We adopted our daughter when she was 7 from Russia. She's struggled with attachment disorders and more recently engaged in dangerous behavior. We tried everything we knew to do and honestly had given up, when we discovered Theta Wellness. The environment is loving and healing and Mike is a gifted healer. Our daughter did the full month program and is not who she used to be. She shares, spends time with the family and connects in ways she never has. She's no longer engaging in dangerous behavior. While she still has some work to do, the changes in her are significant, life changing and are proving to be long lasting. Forever grateful! read more

If you are struggling, feeling lost, overwhelmed, saddened and without direction or hope, if you feel worthless, feel too far away from God, are afraid of what is coming next, and need a loving, judgement free, safe place to turn, Mike Simpson, the staff and the Theta wellness program are absolutely amazing. This is where you deserve to be. My wife and I have been working through some extremely difficult issues within our marriage. We both came with some heavy baggage and due to a life long addiction, I have added additional pain and hurt while we have been married. There were so many negative beliefs beating upon my wife and I daily, and it had just become far more than we could ever overcome ourselves. I had come to believe that I was worthless. So worthless that even God had withdrawn from me and I was not even worth his effort. Mike has so many gifts that assisted me in identifying those core negative beliefs and helping me to see them for the stories I had created that they truly were. Processing them and changing the story was so much easier at that point. Because I have been able to change my stories, I have realized God truly does love me, I do have worth and do deserve love, despite all the things I have done in my life. Mike cares and has assisted me with all of this including helping me to recognize my true worth to God and his love for me. Because of this I am now able to recognize those beliefs which perpetuated my cycles and kept me in my prison of emotional pain and suffering. I am gaining an awareness I never imagined I could have. Mike is continuing to help my wife and I to heal individually first. This is imperative to the success of our marriage. I am continuing to work with Mike on that individual healing and turning to the Lord to complete that change of heart I so deeply desire in my life. Mike has assisted me in changing my life. His guidance in these areas above and ultimately his continued support in reconnecting me to my Savior has been priceless. Thank you Mike for all you have and are doing! John read more

This review is going to be long because there is no way I can in a few short sentences tell you how much I love this place! This place has given me my life back! I have struggled with depression for over 30 years. It began with the birth of my 2nd baby and just descended into overwhelming darkness from there. I have been on almost every anti-depressant on the market. I have done counseling. I have been to a psychiatrist. All worked for a time. And all treatments came with a prescription for an anti-depressant. They worked for a time, but eventually quit working even after increasing the dosage, sometimes to almost dangerous levels. I got so when I did feel good -- I was like a person who only had six months to live. I wanted to experience it all - do it all - be involved in everything - because I knew that at some point, the depression would rear its ugly head and pull me back into that dark empty pit. I dreaded autumn. I knew it was coming. I knew what was around the corner...the horrific depression. About five years ago, there was an event in my life that added a new layer to the depression...Anxiety decided to join me on my journey through depression HELL. There were months that I could barely leave the house. If anyone spoke to me or the thought of me having to interact with people - I would fall apart. All I could do was cry if anyone spoke to me or even looked at me and smiled. By the end of March of this year, I was praying daily that I could die because this was no way to live. I would wake in the morning and cry and be mad at God because he didn't care enough about me to allow me to simply die in the night and be out of this living Hell. My husband knew I was in crisis and he searched out treatment options. One day he happened to watch a segment on TV about Theta Wellness Center in Sandy, Utah and he knew this was where he needed to bring me. He helped me get dressed and brought me in for an assessment with Mike. I remember that first meeting telling Mike that nothing worked and that I was done. There was not even one tiny ember from my burnt out sell that had any desire or hope to ever get better. I was done. My husband was persistent and signed me up for the 28 day program. I had my first appointment the next day. On my third day at the center, I met with Mike again and after only three days that "less than an ember" had become "just maybe there might be a tiny flicker of hope". Before the week was done, I HAD MY FIRST GOOD DAY IN MONTHS! I was able to talk to a few people without crying and the anxiety was manageable. I used the home unit constantly to help stimulate my brain. I was able to go to church for the first time in forever! I have now finished the program and I am functioning and loving my life! I use my home unit faithfully because it helps stimulate my brain, create new neuro-pathways and the other unit that has the Theta lights and hypnosis helps me fill those new pathways with new positive thoughts and beliefs. Mike is incredible at being able to get inside and bring out the mental garbage that fills the mind -- all those negative beliefs that we have taken as truth throughout our lives. All the pain and hurts from the past that have been buried so deep that we don't even realize they are there. He helps you dig those up painlessly, see them for what they are, and clear them out so you can move forward positively in your life. If you are curious, or wondering if this will work for you--I encourage you to come in and talk to Mike or any of the staff here. This has been a true lifesaver! It is not masking the problem with a pill. Medication is good and does have its place, but if you are on the roller-coaster of always needing to increase your dosage, or switch to something new because what you were on has quit working...please, come here. Try this. Set up an appointment for an assessment. I can honestly say I have not been this alive in over 20 years. God does care. He wanted me to get better and live my life. I can see that now. read more

Receiving treatment at the Theta Wellness Center is absolutely the best thing I have ever done for my health and happiness! I had four appointments with Mike and four treatments with each of their three main machines. I went in depressed, discouraged and anxious. Insomnia was my nightly companion. Mike helped me to make sense of a string of experiences throughout my life and brought me to peace and healing. There really are not words to adequately describe my life-changing experience! Mike, Diana, Heather and Cindy are very caring as well as professional. I purchased the home equipment and love using it. I am sleeping well for the first time in years! I love this place! read more

When I went in to see Mike, I had shut down and given up. I have been struggling with PTSD resulting from a very bad relationship, and before that, a very destructive marriage to a narcissist that resulted in losing my children. I was convinced it was all my fault and that I was a total failure. Mike was able to help me leave my past behind me and move forward. I now have confidence, and I have changed my self destructive behaviors, and open up to life, and allow myself to be happy. I am now able to see when I'm falling into old patterns of thinking and turn them around. I have discovered that I'm a powerful and confidant person, once I let go of the crippling lies I told myself about who I thought I was. Mike has helped me change my life! I highly recommended Mike and the Theta Wellness Center! read more

Mike Simpson and his team are absolutely amazing at what they do. I completed the 28 day program a few months ago and it changed my life. I've continued to grow in awareness and in utilizing the skills I was taught. The home equipment provides a huge amount of support both during the program and after. I've been back for follow ups since my program and am now looking forward to bringing my children to experience this wonderful work. I came for anxiety and trauma and essentially have become a whole person who can manage an navigate life with greater joy and peace. read more

I live in NY and don't have the opportunity to travel to Utah at the moment. So I wasn't sure how a session with Mike Simpson would be effective via zoom or Skype. I had my first session this week and despite the fact that I have worked on myself for years and have taken numerous classes and workshops, the work with Mike was on a completely different level. It took him about 15 to 20 minutes to find out exactly what angle he needs to work with me. Our session was exceptionally powerful and I felt so invigorated afterwards That I had to go for a run in Central Park in the cold! I feel amazing and my earth shattering anger has decreased 90% in just one session. Big thanks to Theta Wellness Center and Mike Simpson read more

Mike and his team are top notch professionals. I was comfortable with the processes and got some real breakthroughs on blocks that had been plaguing me for years and years. And yet it was as relaxing as a spa day. Thanks Mike and Heather. read more

After silently suffering for the past four years of a blood issue, and having been to medical doctors and natural healing specialists without any permanent positive results, I had almost given up on seeking help until I learned about Mike Simpson and his wellness center. A random video popped up on my iPad one day, and it was an interview with Mike. I listened and felt so strong that I needed to make an appointment and I'm so glad I listened to that prompting. This was my last hope and I was so excited for my appointment. I'm happy to say after one appointment I was completely healed of my issue (an issue that doctors had no answers for) and I felt physically different right away. That appointment has forever changed my life and I can't thank He and his staff enough. Mike truly is very gifted and helped me learn what the root of my issue was - false beliefs and deep wounds that were holding me back. I let them go that day and I was healed. I continue to refer friends, family, and complete strangers to Mike & Theta Wellness. read more

I struggled with depression for years, and had tried counseling and meds, but nothing had worked. My depression had caused me to drop out of school. My mom found Theta, and we went to one of the introductory sessions. I told her I thought it would really work. Now, after a 4 week theta session last year, I'm finishing my degree to get the career I want. Theta and the wonderful people there, especially Mike, have been such great friends and a tremendous help to me, helping get my life back on track! They've been keeping in contact with me, and they genuinely care about the people they help. Thank you Theta Wellness for everything! read more

I highly recommend Theta Wellness Center! After just one session with Mike I was able to release decades worth of pain that I was holding onto, and didn't even realize it. He helped me in such a unique way, that was filled with love, compassion, and understanding. He is very skilled at what he does, and I was very impressed with who is as a person. I felt so safe and loved. Undoubtedly, he has become an incredible instrument in God's hands to help heal those in need. read more

Mike, Diana, Cindy, and Heather are absolutely wonderful. I was a bit nervous to start the program but upon arriving I felt at ease and knew I was in great hands. Mike is incredibly gifted and helped me discover more about myself in 5 days than what I've learned in 35 years. I have been battling crippling anxiety, insomnia, OCD and a bit of depression for the past 12 years. I got to a point where these things were affecting my work, relationships, and daily life. I couldn't battle these demons any longer! I heard about the Theta Wellness Center and knew it was the place for me because of their mindset of finding and treating the source of the issue. How refreshing! I have seen many therapists and have taken a handful of different anti-depressants. Only one of the prescriptions helped a bit for about 2 years and then just stopped working. I am not against any type of medication but they simply have not worked for me. Mike and his amazing team treat whatever ails you from the source. He will find the issue and go from there. I have been struggling to find the source of my ailments and we found it during my treatment. What I can tell you is you will love this program. Go in with an open heart and you'll find healing. Mike, Heather, Cindy and Diana, you are SO kind, generous and have given me parts of my life back that I've missed for so very long. I can't find proper words to express my gratitude for what you've done for me. I'm forever appreciative and my heart is happy, THANK YOU. read more

Going to Theta Wellness center has changed my life. After two of my friends had decided to commit suicide I fell into a deep depression. After a few months of their passing there was a physical pain that began to completely encompass my body creating this pressure. It was as if someone was pinching really hard on one of my fingernails except it was everyone, nonstop, and it made going through my day difficult. Not only was there this, but I ended up having suicidal thoughts myself. I believed that in order for me to show how sorry I was that I couldn't help my friends when they needed help I needed to end my own life. This thought process took me to some incredibly dark places. It seemed like there was no hope in getting out of this seemingly never ending cycle of being sad. On top of these feelings of depression, other things I didn't know about were brought into the light. I had also been struggling with connecting to people since these two friends of mine passed away. With help from Mike and his experience with Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) we were able to uncover the reasons behind my struggling to make connections. Because of people I had gotten close to suddenly passing away or leaving from my life I felt that any time I would get close to someone they would just leave me at one time or another. After bringing it to light and examining what information we had it almost seemed comical that my mind would come up with this way to "protect me". In my mind, it blocked people from getting close to me(which overall hurt me) because it felt that it was better to always be in some sort of pain rather than to have the pain of losing someone close to me. Going to Mike and meeting with him has truly changed my life. The constant physical pressure and pain I felt is completely gone, my relationships with people have improved drastically, and overall well-being has just been through the roof compared to the past. Many thanks to Mike. read more
