There's even some evidence of rat urine and droppings. It's hard to say if there were any active rodents up there, but there's definitely proof of a past infestation. I was a bit hesitant to use this company because there weren't many reviews on Yelp. Like others have mentioned, I now know that they would do a fantastic job. I guess companies have to start somewhere, and just because they don't have 1000 reviews doesn't mean they're at fault. The crew showed up right on time and did an amazing job. They took extra care to lay down mats and plastic coverings over the flooring and furniture where they were working. Communication was very smooth, and there were no issues with language barriers or communication struggles. We mostly communicated through text messages and email. I received a quote almost immediately after they came in and did the free estimate. The amount I paid seemed fair for the work they had to do. They had to rip out the old installation, which was definitely a huge mess. Everything was bagged up and thrown away, and they made sure the old mess was completely gone before finishing up with the cleanup. They also checked all the access points to make sure everything was securely closed off to prevent any future pests from getting in. Finally, they installed brand new blow-in insulation to the attic. Peeking my head up there, it looks completely different than it did a few hours before. So, yes, I definitely recommend using them for your services. No endless list of add-on services. He walked the property, identified the rodent intrusion points, explained what needed to be done, provided straightforward pricing, and got to work. His team spent an entire day on the first phase of the project going far beyond what I expected, without trying to tack on additional fees. They sealed entry points, removed heavily contaminated insulation from the attic and subfloor areas, cleaned and sanitized rodent-affected spaces, and hauled away approximately 500 pounds of contaminated material. So we contacted Grizzly after that company told us we needed to replace our compressor for $7000+ (and recommended we just replace the whole unit if we had to do that). Grizzly was able to come out same day during the heat wave. Joseph (our Grizzly service guy) called me on his way, came and asked a couple questions and told us what the two possible issues were based off the info he had. He got right to work on the unit on our roof. Joseph said it seemed like the capacitor which is what we had assumed was the issue as well, and went to get the part from the shop. He came back with the part and had our ac blowing cold air again shortly after. Joseph even talked to us about our washable filter being too thick and possibly causing our machine to work too hard and gave us info on purchasing a better washable filter option. Overall, Joseph did his job fantastically. He walked us through the process and was professional and extremely friendly. Working with Grizzly was actually about $90 cheaper than if we would have replaced the same part with the other company. Luckily for us, a terrible experience with one company made us reach out to Grizzly and we ended up with the best value and experience fixing our ac on a hot day. Would highly recommend this company and plan on continuing with Grizzly for future services. But biggest shout out to Joseph!!
