Zero stars! They scammed me out of $400 for BLS instructor Class through The CPR Pro which per AHA is not a training center. Unable to reach anyone to speak with. All is automated AI generated responses via email or text. No one responds back for weeks. My class is supposed to be for next Wednesday and they emailed me stating I did not upload documents, which I have done, and asking me to reschedule for $105. Unable to reach Mary Turner who is the coordinator and who signed me up for the class. Therapeutic Professionals ' number has a busy signal. I have reported their site/business to AHA. read more

I would give my ACLS instructor, Herbert Jackson, 5 stars. He broke down the ACLS algorithms in a way that seemed simple and made sense. He didn't beat around the bush and make the session longer than it needed to be. I would give Therapeutic Professionals 3 stars. For starters this is the wrong address on here and the wrong suite number. I ended up in a field and was almost late for the class (which is nonrefundable). The receptionist was very nice, but I felt like their website was weird and there were no reviews about this business. read more

I have used Therapeutic Professionals twice for my CPR certifications. My favorite instructor would definitely be Ms. Mary. She kept the training lively and fast paced. I really enjoy coming to Therapeutic Professionals for my CPR certification. Kay Henley is a great teacher because she is thorough, patient, and kind. She takes the time to get to know her students and call them by name which creates a more personal environment. I'm an RN, so CPR isn't a new concept for me, but to some it can be very daunting and scary. However, Kay takes the time to calm your nerves and use a step-by-step approach and never makes anyone feel embarrassed because they don't know something or did it incorrectly. She wants you to succeed and do it right. I could get CPR through my employer but chose to support this small business instead. I hope you'll do the same! read more

I have been renewing my HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid certification with Therapeutic Professionals for over 10 years now. I love the small class sizes and the wonderful instructors! I've been blessed to have Mary Turner, Tom Cloud and Kay Henley for instructors over the years. You can't go wrong with any of these great people! Mary was the trainer of my class and she did a great job teaching. She kept me engaged and gave individualized feedback. The class size is small, which is nice because I always feel awkward doing CPR classes with a bunch of people watching. There was a discount for registering early, which was nice! Will never use this company. Paid for the class and the night before, my toddler was up all night throwing up, after my 12 hour shift. He did not fall asleep until 7:30. When I called them later that afternoon, not for a refund, but to just reschedule, I was told by a rude, condescending woman on the phone that it is "the company's policy" they will not allow me to reschedule. Any company that is inflexible and empathetic with an understandable situation Will never again have my business. Rude and ridiculous. Wish I could give them no stars. Highly recommend! As a healthcare professional, I'm required to go through the mandatory motion every 2 yrs to renew my CPR. 2 years ago my employer sent me to William Turner, who made the class actually FUN and I felt like I actually got real-life situational training. I enjoyed it soooooo much, that I requested to have this same instructor 2 yrs later. To my disappointment, a last minute change put me with Mary Turner instead. What a blessing in disguise! This instructor kept my attention and again, made this class FUN, yet serious about imparting the skills needed to save lives. She happens to be the other instructor's daughter, so she was his "mini-me" and they are BOTH exceptional instructors. Emphasis on being good at instructing, because not everyone teaches this well. I will be going back to them every 2 years as long as I can. read more

I had scanned documents of my previous card that I obtained from my nursing program after my purse was stolen which should have been sufficient as proof....especially since I returned to the same teacher I saw to get the original card...." read more

Mary Turner is a wonderful CPR teacher. I definitely recommend taking her class if she is teaching it. I took the BLS for providers skills test with her. She taught critical thinking instead of memorizing which in a stress situation is so important! read more

Took the BLS class for providers with Mary Turner. I found her condescending in class, she was making me and the other two students uncomfortable by stating that we were giving sub-par CPR and that that would be how we would give CPR in a real emergency, which is extremely unprofessional and untrue as we are all licensed healthcare professionals. I misplaced my current CPR card but did have a picture to show Mary, however I was told unless I had a picture of both sides of the card she would not be able to accept it and I would have to pay the additional $10. Mary did not approach me about the payment once the class ended but later called me to give her my credit card information over the phone (which I am very uncomfortable with), any payment should have been taken care of while I was at the class. Upon arriving home I did locate my CPR card and sent pictures of both the front and back to Mary as she stated in class. She then backtracked and told me she would not accept it because it was not the e-card and I would need to bring in the physical card to show her in person next week. This doesn't make sense to me because the e-card is exactly the same as the physical card, and now I have to take the time out of my day to go show her the physical card even though she already has clear evidence that I have my CPR certification. It's pretty insulting of her to insinuate that I may have forged my card or pretended to have a card when I don't by making me bring in the physical card. In addition, she has held my new CPR card hostage for $10 and even after delivering my old CPR card to her in person, I still have not received my new CPR card. Not sure what the issue is now, but maybe if she had sent it with the other students who received theirs *last* Friday, we wouldn't be having this issue. According to Mary, "We may need to call AHA." This is not my issue to solve, this is the company's for taking my money and failing to provide me with the CPR card that I paid for. This service has been terrible and I will never make the mistake of taking a class with Mary Turner ever again. read more

I would REALLY like to give them a half of a star if any...I have been fighting with this company for over a week to get a refund, only to find out from the director/Mary Turner "all sales are final". This particular location/instructor is UNPROFESSIONAL as well as RUDE.She has very little customer service skills and lacks humility and tack. I had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with Mary Kay Henley, who spoke to me as if she was addressing a five year old child; a series of degrading, condescending and humiliating conversation. First she wanted me to pay an additional $10.00 cash because I had registered for the wrong class...? Next she wanted me to purchase a mandatory book for the course for another $15.00 cash...? All of this whilst she is pacing and shouting "Jesus Christ, I need prayer". I do not have a problem paying the additional money; however I have used this company in the past - different location and different instructor (Kudos: Cheri in Tomball), but I have never, ever had to pay any additional charges (in cash or otherwise). I have been a nurse for 30+ Years and can usually complete my American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers rather painlessly...until now. Simply put: NOT RECOMMENDED. read more
