He looked at me and said don't worry Ms. Castillo I can help you avoid knee replacement by performing a procedure on your knees with a gel injection. Is a series of 3 injections in each knee. So since I trust him with my life I said let's try it. He performed the first 2 injections with some cortisone as well and I tell you his hands are blessed and special, he really know what his doing. I literally went for a consultation, I had no PT or injection. I literally only went to check out the place and after looking at their space I felt that it wasn't what I was looking for. I paid my $25 co-payment and went on my way. A month passed by and I get a bill saying that I owe a lot of money to them. I called to see what happened and I was charged out of network. I reached my Limit for out of network cost. I was responsible to pay the bill. I tried to explain to them that I had insurance and was told that my consultation would be within network and my insurance company would cover everything and you think they would tell you that your visit will not be covered by the insurance company but instead they want make more money and charge me for the consultation. I told them that I was recently fired and that I barely have any money to eat. Dr Oryan Baruch literally told me too bad and that I have to pay up or he's send me to collections. This doctors is running a scam and doesn't care about the people who are losing their jobs due to covid.

I didn't immediately make an appointment, but I finally went in late Jan. 2025. I went on a Thursday and upon entering I saw a waiting area with people on top of people. Having retired after 50 years in healthcare in various settings, I knew this is not a good sign. I was seen sooner than I expected, but I suspect, it was only to input me into the system. It was a pleasant meeting and the doctor actually DID something. She gave me some trigger point injections! Relief. An MRI was ordered. Totally necessary since I hadn't one in years. In response to my question regarding the crowded waiting room, I was told Thursday is "procedure day" with patients requiring anesthesia needing someone to accompany them. I scheduled my f/u appt on a Friday. And then it began. The Friday I returned the waiting room was not crowded. I was hoping to discuss the MRI results with the doctor. I was told she was not in due to a last minute emergency. Possible, but not probable. The only medical practitioner onsite was the PA and she was overstretched. She discussed options and an epidural injection was scheduled for the next Friday, since I didn't need anesthesia. She recommended a baseline EMG, since I also have diabetic neuropathy. A sound idea, so one was scheduled for today, Thursday. When I expressed my reservations about Thursday, I was told it "was a different line". Arrived today, on time, to a room packed with people. I signed in and took a seat. After waiting an hour past my appointment time, I asked at the front desk how much longer. I was told there were 4 people ahead of me! I said I was told this was a different line. She said "it is". When I asked why I wasn't told there would be such a wait, the receptionist said "you didn't ask"!!!!!!! There are many types of business models for medical offices. Some are based on respect for patients and their time. Others are based on greed. An appointment is an agreement between the patient and the provider. There will always be instances where a patient may need more time. A medical complication or a little hand holding. But this practice only cares about generating income by overbooking time slots, at the expense of their patient's time. I canceled my EMG and my epidural injection. There are too many physicians in the area to be subjected to such treatment. Unfortunately, I never got to see if their treatment would have been beneficial.

Found this establishment via Zoc Doc and based on the reviews, decided to give them a try. For the…read morerecord, the Dr listed isn't the current doctor but the one I saw is beyond amazing. The office is a narrow space right off Hilside near Advantage Care Physicians or the old HIP building for my old school Queens folks. I counted about 6 massage tables/ privacy screened areas. There is one doctor overseeing the practice and about 4 other assistant and one intern from LIU Brooklyn campus. The space is clean and I'm low key obsess with whatever lotion/ bio freeze they use. It smells like Eucalyptus and Lavender and immediately makes you want to nap. Sam the receptionist is super courteous and all about making things go seamless for the patient. Even calls to ask about your visit. My first visit to was in a Monday at 11 and when I arrived the office was quite booked. However, patients were moving in and out at a great speed. Between filing our forms and waiting to see the Dr I'd say the processing time was about 20 mins. Dr. Viren Bhagat introduced himself and gathered some history about the pain placement and immediately got me on the massage bed. I was diagnosed with TMJ a condition where the temporomandibular joint or TMJ acts like a sliding hinge, connecting your jawbone to your skull. Dysfunction can lead to pain and discomfort of jaw difficulty chewing, and clicking and locking of the jaw joint, severe headaches, facial pain and twitching. He could detect right away where the trigger points or knots were. He worked the right side of my face where the muscle connects and I was close to tears, not because of him- that's just the way the pain shows up. Bit by bit he'd address different spots checking in with me often to see if I was okay or if he needed to decrease the pressure. On several occasions he expressed concerns about triggering the pain and the fact that it could make me dizzy and he was hyper aware that I'd be driving home. He eventually made his way into my super tense right jaw and worked out those knots as well. I could feel some of them begin to painfully diminish. After about an hr of working the different areas, he applied a heating pad to my face for 15 mins. It was so soothing I fell asleep. As I write this, I just wrapped another session and today I was in far less pain because of the work he did. For a co-pay of $20 and what he's been able to accomplish in just two visits, I wish I had been seeing him a long time ago. My insurance Emblem- GHI is accepted and gives me another 8 paid visits with them and then after that I get another 10 at no cost. I will be there twice a week. It is my pleasure to leave them a review knowing that their care will greatly improve someone else's quality of life.
