It never Hanes, but it pours…read more I didn't even know that Hanes had stores. That's pretty cool. Did you know? Well this was my first experience of an actual Hanes store. They make very cute underwear and Barbie loves their sports bras. It's in an outlet mall so their stuff is a little cheaper than you expect to pay at a Hanes store, if you know what one is. But having said that hang stuff is pretty cheap at Walmart too, so it's not like this is a godsend or a revelation or anything. There's a much bigger selection here than there is at Walmart and prices are comparable. I always associate Hanes with cheap stuff so finding a cheap Hanes store doesn't blow me away, as much as it does Barbie who adores when I bring her here, and adores Outlet malls in general. It's cool for the novelty, and I appreciated that element of it. I would say that the best thing about having a Hanes store here is that Hanes is pretty awesome in general so if you're here, pick up some cheap undies like I pick up cheap dates.

I don't like walking to the back of the store to pick up my one item and leave(I was in a hurry) I am happy I did not have to wait in the long line with only one cashier! Why only one??? I cannot comment on the service because I did not need any. The online items use to be up front. I did not have time to shop. For value, I saved $20 on an $80 item. That's nice.

Since Kohl's sent me a $5 birthday gift, I found a perfect excuse to shop here. I noticed this store is more fully stocked than the other stores in Houston. Cashier was the only person I interacted with. I didn't really need any help. The fitting rooms are at the women's department which took me awhile to find them. While there was not much time left to shop, I did what I could to pick up a couple of shirts. Yeah. I definitely have to come back when there is a sale.

Daughter is in search of a cocktail dress. She is 6' tall so this is not an easy task to find one that is cute, not to expensive and fits well. My daughter tried on around 8-10 dresses and she found one that was under $40!!!! If you have time to really search for great bargains this might be the place for you. The shoe department was a little lagging but that's ok. Very happy mom.

If you want to be silently judged and misunderstood by a pretentious manager, come shop while she's…read morearound! (See picture for reference) If you want an invisible label attached to you that has ABSOLUTELY NO relation to who you are as a customer then please shop here. Buying for friends and family will do you no good here, because if you do this, you could possibly be "not welcomed to come" again because you're a greedy "reseller." You could still outspend on the total for items you get for YOURSELF vs spending only 1/3 on a separate purchase for family and friends and STILL be seen as something you're not and in turn, be denied to shop another day. Absolutely asinine and inappropriate attitude + presumptuousness from a manager who had no business to talk to me like that. I wasn't able to get her name, but her photo and employee number (for whoever else needs to make a complaint formally: 99994000090186) will have to do instead unfortunately. I've never done a review ever like this because every worker there up this point (almost 2 years I've been shopping there) have been amazing and helpful, at least until Manager Assume Your Purchasing Intentions came around. This Johnston & Murphy store is located in the Houston Premium Outlets in Cypress (290W and Grand…read moreParkway). When it comes to men's shoes and clothing, J&M is very stylish and affordable. The selection of J&M merchandise at this specific outlet store is amazing. They literally have 100+ styles of shoes to choose from. They have everything from dress, business casual, casual, and outerwear. They also have many styles of over the ankle boots, both slip on and lace up in dressy and casual. I have found J&M shoes to be both affordable and durable. My profession is sales. I am on my feet and in and out of my car every day all day. I am hard on shoes. Some of their dress shoes have rubber inserts in the heel that make the shoe much more comfortable. It also makes the shoe more weather proof for Houston weather. Their clothing is also stylish. They have a plethora of men's shirts that have the different fabric on the inside of the wrist if you decide to roll them up for a more casual look. Also, the tails are cut to be worn tucked or untucked. I own at least eight of their shirts and get compliments on them every time I wear them. Perfect for the business casual environment. If you are into wearing stylish socks (like President Bush - 41), they have a wide array to choose from . Anything from a little more subdued to way out there. The socks are really cool. I have found the staff here to be very helpful. Wendy is very friendly and is always willing to look to see if they have your specific size in stock if it isn't already on the floor. She can also order anything you need and ship it straight to your home (free shipping) if they don't have it in the store. Bottom line, I am a huge fan of Johnston and Murphy shoes and clothing. The selection at this specific store is quite amazing. I don't think you will be disappointed.
