The shop itself is beautifully decorated, but it was the "homey" feeling that made it so special. Kamie was so welcoming and warm. The boutique has an incredible selection in a quaint, comfortable space. High end, excellent quality apparel at fair prices. I, nearly exclusively, shop Lula Belle. Kamie makes my shopping experiences so personal. Even living 1400 miles away, she packages all my treasures with TLC. (And the clothing smells amazing! It's an extra special touch she makes.). When my parents came to visit recently, we stopped by Emerhoff's Footwear to get me a new pair of sneakers (mine had holes in the heels) and also to find a solid pair of shoes for my upcoming internship. The service was amazing--from the wide selection and quality brands to the genuinely helpful staff. I was able to try on a bunch of different sneakers until I found the right pair. Then, when it came to the work shoes, they helped me test out insoles and different fits until we found something that worked perfectly. A special shoutout to Chloe--she went above and beyond. They ordered the work shoes in for me, and instead of making me pay a ridiculous shipping fee to get them to my dorm, Chloe personally delivered them. Amazing service and knowledge of their customer base, I am proud to say that they value quality and service in high regard. Huge thanks to both Chloe and the store owner for the top-notch service, not just during the purchase, but all the way through until the shoes were in my hands. I HIGHLY recommend Emerhoff's if you're in Ames or anywhere nearby. You won't be disappointed.
