The biggest reason for coming here was to help socialize my dog (and to do some dog treats shopping). They are pet friendly here (I called ahead of time just to confirm) so I was able to walk freely with my puppy. All the employees are so friendly and my pup loved being petted by them. The dog treats we bought were of a popular brand name and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

She was riding in Stage 3 or a 6 stage all week ride and she had a major de-railer on her bike break. She has a bike from REI she purchased years ago and loves it but she was able to get a hold of the REI in Des moines and they said bring it in. So I drove here 1 1/2 hours from the road ride she was in and Ben and Sam at the store rocked it!!!! They fixed her bike and got her back up going in an hour and she is now back on the road in Stage 4 today. We cannot thank you enough, REI and especially two heroes Ben and Sam. I typically run my debit card as credit but was unable to. The person who checked me out offered me no assistance when I asked for help to run my card as credit. I happened to recently get this card, and I could not remember my PIN number (yes this part is my fault). However, the person who helped checked me out should have offered to help me figure out how to run my card as credit instead of just staring at me with an attitude. I ended up telling that person that I could not pay for my items and left because I was so frustrated. I was very disappointed and do not plan on going back to this store anytime soon.
