They have young staff that can relate to the kids and make it fun for them. The kids are laughing enjoying themselves but also listen to the coaches. The skills drills they have are fun and they do not pressure the kids to do something they are not comfortable with, but they do encourage them to face their fears but allow it to be done at the pace of the child. We've already signed up for a month to month program....and appreciate the "open gym" hours they have which is separate from your normal class schedule and it's at an additional charge since it's on a per use basis which help kids work on skills at their own pace and time during open gym hours.

We got out of a place where the owner was a crazy, psychotic guy who couldn't even keep a good relationship with his employees so he was short staffed and he was the one giving the classes to the little ones. He pinched one of my kids who was only 4 years at the time and left a big bruise on his right arm. When I confronted him, he got all nasty. I left his place and wrote a bad review on his business. He threatened me and continued to call my husband several times a day so that I would delete the bad review from his page. That guy was definitely mentally unstable. No wonder his business is closed! After doing a more careful research of where to take our kids, we found SoCal Fight Factory. I regret not finding this place before and exposing my kids to danger by taking them with that psychotic brazilian guy in Palmdale on Grand Cypress Ave . SoCal Fight Factory is a safe place for kids. The coaches are Amazing. They all earned our respect and admiration. My kids learned so much from their coaches, specially from Marco. We miss this place so much. Unfortunately, we had to move out of California and we haven't been able to find another place like SoCal Fight Factory. We moved her to AV twisters and she was immediately put in the next level. After about a year they recommended advancing her again due to how well she was doing. They let us know up front what to expect since it meant longer classes since she would start training to compete. The staff is really understanding and nice to the kids. They consist of current advanced or prior students so they've all gone through the same school. It's amazing how far she's gone in the short time here. I have seen such a positive change in her; she is both physically and mentally stronger than she has ever been. She has learned a great deal of technique along with vital life-saving self-defense skills. Coach Jimmy is hands down the best coach. Three-year-olds are still learning impulse control, attention, and classroom behavior. In my opinion, there were many opportunities for redirection, coaching, or communication with the parent before resorting to removing her entirely from the class. What troubled me most was the emotional impact the experience had on my daughter. Rather than helping her learn, the situation left her feeling rejected and discouraged. A positive learning environment for young children should balance expectations with patience, understanding, and age-appropriate behavior management. Because of this experience, I chose to withdraw my daughter from the program and requested a refund for the month I had recently paid. Families considering this gym should be aware of how behavioral issues are handled with very young children and decide whether that approach aligns with their expectations. On a positive note, we always had good experiences with one of the coaches, coach Eva (not referenced above), and I did appreciate the structure and variety of activities during the class.
