If you hate Amazon & how they mistreat their employees & customers; you will hate The Landing. It's a far drive in a completely isolated area where it feels very unsafe; looks like where murderers would go to dump a body. I am a 65 year old Medical Patient, disabled & living with severe health & energy issues & I spent a lot of moolah over 2 years at the Landing. The Landing company & Mgt don't give a shit about Medical Patients; Price gouging & not keeping in stock items medical patients need to use for pain (RSO, etc). Reducing the medical discount from 30% for medical low income to 25% and now 20% and cancelling previous 25% sale on Sundays etc. Huge staff turnover due to mistreatment. I never had a problem with the staff before Mgr Dayton & Asst Mgr Dustin; it was always the company creating the fuckery. I complained to Lucas a month ago and he was very supportive and gave great customer service. Lucas told me he wished I would express everything I said to him to the General Mgr. There is a new General Mgr; Dayton. Once I was well enough, I called & expressed my displeasure at the way the company was treating me; lowering discounts by 1/3 etc. and all that had been going on for the past 2 years. Dayton said, I've just started here. The reward points has not been working for the past two years; I had to make a special call to get my reward points. Dayton said I had $90 in reward points (and now they expire every 90 days). I told him I would come in & use all my reward points and I would not spend another cent in this store until they turned it around and treated both employees and customers; especially Medical Patients well. Today I went in to use all my reward points; there was more stress and confusion around that and I don't think I was even given all the reward points I had earned. I told Dustin that The Forest opened in Lakewood (not a far drive) and had Galenas flower (all that I use) at better prices. I said "This may very well be my last time in this store." The Assistant Mgr Dustin said to me, This actually will be your last time in the store because you have been banned from the store!!! UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!!! Instead of doing their job and addressing the real problems in their company they blamed me. I guess that's easier than really managing a store and doing real customer service. BOYCOTT THE LANDING. THE DAYS OF FASCISTS & CORPORATIONS RUINING OUR COUNTRY IS QUICKLY COMING TO AN END. *Note: At a different dispensary when I told the Mgr of the problems I encountered; they fixed the problems and made it a positive experience to go there. When I explained I was swamped at work and wouldn't be able to stop by back in for a couple weeks, they were compassionate, offering an empathic ear and reassuring me that it'll work out and reminding me that I can only internalize so much. It was like the hug I needed after a rough week. I want to hug those amazing women for being so supportive! At this location, a staff member told me I couldn't even wait in the lobby because I didn't have an ID. The way it was handled came across as rude and unnecessary, she was being a big Karen about it! If this is the policy, it should be communicated respectfully and fine print where people can see. Customer service does not matter in this place? That same lady keeps saying it's the law to show ID to sit in the lobby. Ohio law requires to show identification when entering into the retail area where it is double locked from the inside. The law does not require to show proof of identification if you're waiting in the lobby with the person that you came with that is going to purchase the product. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone and will never come back again.
