It had like 8 bars in a 5 mile radius, so I had to check it out to drink a couple cold ones. I got to town and went to about 5 different bars, but hands down the best one was circus. Daniel was there and was sooooo friendly and helpful, easy going. I've been to every state in the country and I can comfortably say that Daniel is top notch best bar tender I've met. Super nice, caring, quick, knowledgeable... made my entire night better. If you're in town, the only legit bar I think is definitely circus.

I got a salad and wild rice for the sides. The rice was perfectly cooked and there was a delicious roll with it. The service was terrific. We got our food on time, and the waitress kept our drinks filled. The restaurant itself was beautifully situated on Mina Lake. We had a good view of the lake. Hidden Gem in Aberdeen - Cuzco Delivers!…read more If you ever find yourself in Aberdeen, South Dakota--or you're lucky enough to live here--you have to give Cuzco a try. This place is truly a hidden gem in a small but mighty town! We came in with a large group, and the staff handled everything flawlessly. The service was friendly and efficient, even with another big party of ten dining at the same time. Everyone looked happy and well taken care of. The food was amazing--you can tell the chef puts real passion into every dish. We ordered all the appetizers (minus the seafood ones for me due to an allergy), and the rest of the group said they were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I went with the Ribeye, and wow--it was a huge portion, definitely big enough to share! It came with rice and potato wedges that were crispy, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. The rice was also cooked perfectly. Several others in our group ordered the Surf & Turf and the Picanha, and everyone raved about how good they were. And then... dessert! Hands down the best desserts I've had in Aberdeen. Do yourself a favor and try the lemon cake--it's incredible. All in all, Cuzco is a must-visit spot whether you're just passing through or looking for a great night out. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and truly cares about her customers. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere--what more could you ask for?

We ordered a little bit of everything: Philly cheesesteak totchos, pretzel bites with cheese, and cross-cut waffle fries. The Philly Cheesesteak Totchos were the star crispy tots piled high with what might honestly be some of the best cooked steak and veggies I've had on bar food. Super flavorful and done right. The waffle fries were perfectly cooked nice and crispy without being overdone, and full of flavor. Pretzel bites were your classic bar version well salted and paired with a really solid cheese dip that hit the spot. Overall, if you're looking for great service, a laid-back local atmosphere, and really good bar food, this place delivers. Definitely worth stopping in.
