My wife eats her fries with Mayo, and she had asked for a side of mayo with her sandwich, to which the waitress replied "there's already mayo on the sandwich"...so I had to ask her not only twice, but three times before she would go get it. Same with me, only mine was mustard...had to ask 3 times before she would go get it. (and then she had someone else bring it to the table, and we NEVER saw her again. Fast-forward to end of meal... We were finished and just sitting there waiting for the check, which no-one ever voluntarily brought to our table. So I asked for the check and to speak to the manager, to which I got attitude from one of the servers. Long story short, I spoke to manager to explain to him that it wasn't the food, but the absolutely horrible service we received that I was concerned about, and to explain why there would be no tip left for the wait staff from this visit. He shook my hand, asked me to see the bill, and promptly said "it's taken care of." Will we be back? Probably...like I said the food is always good. (Maybe somebody just had a really bad day). The main space is split between a full service bar and table seating, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The menu runs from chicken and pork to beef, salmon and pasta. I especially enjoyed the prime rib special last Saturday. Service at Dot T's is friendly and attentive, and it is run like a family restaurant. You may get a chance to meet Dot T herself, and hear how her late husband's WW II fighter plane - which he named after his sweetheart - inspired the decor.
