I placed my very first order on Saturday, August 26, 2023 totaling $131.62 and received them on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. The next day, Thursday, August 31, 2023, everything that I purchased is 50% off. I was happy and disappointed because I was planning to spend more money and disappointed because I just bought a bunch of items at much higher prices. So I contacted them via IM on Thu, August 31 asking for a price adjustment for a store credit and received a reply the next day, saying that they cannot adjust pricing and/ or give me store credit. I told them that I would buy a lot more than the credit that I would have received. I also gave them a call, hoping that they would work with me and they said no. They said that I can return them but I already wore the pants and top, and remove packaging from all of them. Also on the return, they would only give store credit. Worse online store I've ever encountered. Submitted my return online and they APPROVED IT then after I already paid return shipping they want you to pay shipping BACK to yourself if you don't want them to donate your return! They have since sent an email trying to explain that there system would not let them update each individual item as final sale therefore proving to be a scam and fraudulent as Well as misleading to the customer. I have shopped a few times on the website. They are hit or miss. I recently purchased a dress that was too short for me. I returned it knowing that they give store credits. Well recently they have not been adding new items to website, or if they do its all their brand or Zenana. I am not a fan of either. Love that they have a limited supply of items so you don't walk around town and see 50 other people wearing the same thing you have on! Terrible experience in every way, I spent two hours shopping here Mother's app, then I entered my discount code, USA as received with instructions. Of course it didn't take and charged me full price (16 items, my first purchase), so I attempted to cancel my order. Oh so sorry for the misfortune, there are no refunds no matter what! Lol. Order a pair of leggings in October, nice and soft... wore a few times and they fell apart! When I wash my leggings I do them on a gentle cycle and don't put them in the dryer. I want to share my awful experience with Zig Zag Stripe with everyone! For those of you who shop at Zig Zag Stripe and received gift certificates for Christmas, BEWARE!! I have been a customer there since 2015 when I first found them on Facebook. I have loved every piece of clothing they have sold. For those of you that know me know that I wear the same items WEEKLY that I have purchased from ZZS. I have sent several of my friends to them because I knew they would love it as much as I did. ZZS recently came out with a Facebook Marketplace Boutique. I received a few gift certificates for Christmas and have been dying to use them. They finally restocked something I have wanted for quite some time and when I try to purchase it, they tell me I cannot use my gift certificate on the Facebook site - if I want to use a gift certificate I have to purchase it through their actual website. That is SO dumb, but okay... I go to the website and of course, the item I want is not on the website. I then tell the ZZS Marketplace that the item is not on the website and I REALLY want to purchase this item. They tell me that if the item does not sell out before it makes it to the website, I then can purchase it there with my gift certificate. OF COURSE it is going to sell out. They always sell out within the hour! It will never make it to the website! Others and I express how we miss the old ZZS - where everyone had a chance to order, etc. Leslie Hall who is the Boss of ZZS comments back with "This is the best ZZS has ever been, they have the lowest prices ever, etc.", then proceeds to block me and I'm assuming the others who expressed feedback as well from being able to comment on or purchase any of the items on the ZZS Marketplace site. How unprofessional of them to treat their customers like that! We expressed genuine feedback because we are paying, returning customers and want to you to know how we feel and this is what we get in return! Ridiculous! I emailed customer support and expressed to them that this is very unprofessional. I will not be shopping with them again if this is how they are going to treat their customers. I get no response, no apology, no one trying to make this right. Clearly, they do not care about their customers. I will be spending my money elsewhere, where they appreciate their customers and their feedback! read more

Poor customer service. I ordered my first item, it arrived with a very clear defect. I sent an email with pictures and was told to send it back, they would not charge me the $5 restocking fee and they would reimburse me the shipping to send it back. Well, they did charge me the restocking fee and I have not been reimbursed for the shipping. I've sent emails, I posted on their Facebook page. All ignored. I'm not sure I'll get much accomplished by calling judging from some of the other Yelp reviews, so I may resort to going through Paypal to get my money back. Horrible company. read more

I don't understand how someone could operate a business with such a lack of customer service and poor business decisions. I even tolerated their stone-aged return policy due to ease of shopping online and the selection of clothing I liked. If I didn't care for something I would return it, at $8 a pop, which was a lil' bit hard to swallow but still not enough for me to pass them by. I would receive a store credit for my returns (because they do not offer refunds) and again not a problem because I could spend that credit in record time! BUT when I had a different situation with a pair of shoes I tried to wear (and trust me, I wanted them to work out so badly) but there was something in/on the heel that was sticking into me and was not something I could fix or that would go away by "breaking them in". I emailed their so-called customer service explaining the situation and received the standard return policy email response. I wrote back asking for additional guidance and still, pretty much got the same response. So, I spent another $8 to return the shoes and included a detail description of the problem expecting to receive a store credit for the DEFECTIVE merchandise. I never did received the credit and after a couple of emails between the 2 of us, they are still going to spend more of their money to send the shoes back to me because they had been worn! Would NOT have been a problem at any other retail store but they just refuse to budge from their ridiculous return policy. In total, they refused to issue a credit of $29, spent maybe another $4-$5 to return the shoes to me and therefore LOST a regular customer that has spent over $600 in their store over the last 2-3 months. If that ain't a crock of poo I don't know what is! I am so happy for them, that they are well off enough to turn away a regular paying customer for $24-$25 dollars to stand their ground over a return policy that should turn away anyone with brain! Yes, I just put myself in that category but I was still willing to take the chance... Nevertheless, I will be taking my business to the Paisley Heart or any other boutique that has a 21st century return policy and appreciates their customers!!! read more

Buyer beware! The return policy allows for in-store credit only with poor business practices. I purchased a dress for about $33.60, but it didn't fit. I paid around $15 to ship it back to the Zig Zag Stripe in exchange for a store credit. The store credit was $33.60. I found a shirt that I wanted for $34. I entered the store credit number provided and owed 40 cents. I tried to pay, but the program would not accept my payment. I tried another card with the same results. I called the store and received an answering machine message stating they were closed for lunch. I called again after lunch and was told to try the payment again. I was also asked if I had tried their app. I tried their app, their computer website, and their Facebook in an attempt to purchase the shirt and use my store credit. However, none of the methods worked and using a different card also did not work. I contacted the store again and received an answering machine message. I called the store again and someone answered. The person that answered the phone tried to enter the payment over the phone, but that didn't work either. They emailed me an invoice to pay which also did not work. I called the store again and the answering machine answered again. I called again and someone answered. I explained that the invoice that was emailed did not work. I was told that I needed to either pay full price for the shirt without using my store credit or purchase an additional item with a price higher than $1 so the payment would be accepted. They said their system couldn't process a payment lower than $1. I asked them if they would reduce the price of the shirt by 40 cents since it was a company problem and not mine. I was told no. I was transferred to a manager that explained they couldn't do that due to state taxes. When this was questioned because they place their shirts on sale and they control the pricing, then I was told that it was due to their system. I reluctantly purchased an additional item in which the payment again did not process. I called the store and had to leave an answering machine message. Once they called me back, they entered my card information over the phone and the order processed. In the end, I spent $15 to get a store credit that caused me to spend another $12.40 on earrings that were more than my store credit amount. Absolutely ridiculous business procedures! read more

The owner is one of the rudest women I've ever encountered, topped only by her mother (who now owns the Waxahachie store under another name). She is repeatedly rude to customers on FB and as many of the previous reviews state, only cares about making a buck, NOT customer service. Returns didn't exist for this store, and if you order online, you better hope the post office is ON TOP OF THINGS, because even though they now charge for shipping (free shipping built up their business), they use the absolute cheapest option (and don't seem to have bothered to set up a business account) and they don't insure it. So if it gets lost, too bad too sad...they've made their money, so they don't care anymore. And the clothes... they used to be great. So great they were worth the terrible owner, and the slight feeling of guilt that I was lining this woman's pockets. The knit stuff pilled and shrunk, but the slinky fabrics were great, and clothes fit most sizes 4 to 18. Loved the silhouettes and the patterns. Stuff sold out quickly bc of the cult following. Then the owner ended a bunch of customer loved programs (not adjusted, just abruptly ended) and pissed ppl off... business started to wane, so they decided they could line their pockets better by selling cheap boutique crap instead of their own stuff. So now, like many other boutiques, sizing is super inconsistent. But other stores have better service, cheaper shipping, and better return policies... so I'll be headed there! This review is about the store in Waxahachie but I assume the exchange policy is the same as this store. A friend of mine tried to exchange a shirt that she bought less than a week ago for a different size and they would not allow her to do that without the receipt. Again she just wanted to exchange and they had the shirt on the rack. She also showed her the information on her phone that showed how many points she got for purchasing this shirt. Because she did not have the receipt they would not exchange it. Poor customer service and poor business practice. read more

The quality of clothing has gone down significantly since the company started. They claim 98% Made in the USA, but I beg to differ. It looks like most items are from China. The fabrics have changed from nice quality fabrics to cheap t-shirt materials that shrink after one handwashing.
