I guess you pay for the views & sunset eventually. Not much of a beer selection & the initial real ale we chose was off so settled for local cider. I'll admit, when I first ordered, I did think that they were a little expensive. However, it turns out that was because I was expecting the food to be of a lower standard. They do insist on using brioche buns (uhk), but they burgers are juicy and meaty and being sat watching the river gently push past makes up for this one annoyance. We did order a cheese board, but can only presume that they made a mistake because we were brought about three times the usual amount. the friendly staff were happy to bring us a massive box of crackers so we did what was needed and ate the lot. Parking can be tricky, and it's quite a popular spot in the summer. They have some toys out for kids, but there are probably more family friendly spots.
