They offer a variety of classes - strength, cycle, mat Pilates, hybrid conditioning, and more. I first tried mat Pilates with Oni on a Sunday morning. The class was held in the strength area on the first floor. It was a great workout with clear instructions. We used light dumbbells, so it was manageable. I took mat Pilates again a few days later with a different instructor. This time it was in the evening and held upstairs in the cycle room because there was a strength class going on at the same time. The vibe was so different with the lights and a smaller room. This workout was so challenging, and I was dripping sweat like crazy. After that day, I had some intense knee pain that had been building up for days, so I ended up having to cancel a cycle class and hybrid conditioning. I was really looking forward to trying those. There's also a recovery room that can be reserved, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Then my VIP week ended. I can definitely see why people like this gym. It's a one-stop shop for strength, cardio, and recovery. It's just not for me at this time.

Whether you're stopping in from ClassPass (like myself) or just in the area looking for a fitness class I would definitely check them out.

I was told ....it would be 6months , before I'd be walking without crutches. Well .... He took all my bad habits away ... No more reaching for doorways ... counter top .... Crawling along the walls , to get around the kitchen .... he is ...rebuilding, my foundational , balancing, muscles. Biggest improvement... was to strengthen , the feet and ankles ; to get balance back....Of course the core muscles. Especially..... Retraining the brain and coordination back into those muscles. So. I was looking for the nearest pool and they took the time out of their day to find the closest pool and hours! I think every club needs to have a good set of personal trainers! I was able to work briefly with Shad! He didn't have a client at the time and he was able to show me a few shoulder workouts! That is what you call love for the job because most trainers would have been focused on booking you but he just wanted to help me get my shoulder workout done right! We…read morehad a slight issue but because of Shad Andreas (the new personal training manager) top-notch customer service skills, fast thinking and his constant communication with me, he came through with flying colors and I was totally satisfied and happy with the outcome. Shad worked hard to make things right and it showed, very much appreciated. What a fantastic decision to transfer him to this facility in Gilbert to "fix" things, he definitely is in the right spot and will go far. During my dealings with Shad last week, I dealt with numerous others that definitely deserve recognition for their patience, helpfulness and just being kind over the phone. Chase was the one answering the phone and wanting to help, good listener and never just transferred me to get me off his line, he truly wanted to make sure I got to the right person. Andrew, the assistant manager is also in the right position, he truly is there to serve MountainSide's customers. Last but not least is Chandler the manager, talk about making things happen for the good of the customers and the follow up is amazing, something you don't find anymore. This is a great environment for young student athletes. Try out fitness trainer, Charles Doss. He is a great coach and motivator.
