I call this company because over the years my sprinkler heads have been broken and replaced by yard…read moreguys with wrong heads and the system needed set for coverage. The owner, Joe tells me there will be charging $75.00 to estimated assess what needs to be done. He was here 20 minutes. a few weeks later he sent someone else to do the work and that was fine but the other guy left a 3 inch wide and 6 inch deep ring around each sprinkler where there should have been dirt to enclose and support the sprinkler. I called them back and the guy asked me if I had any dirt. I pointed to a pile I had just dug out of the front bed of my house. He threw this around the sprinklers, burying them completely. That's not the worst part. He did not bother to take out the baseball size rock, foot long bent rusty metal hanger or any other garbage in the pile of dirt. he just piled it all up and on top of my sprinklers. looked like crap. when I called the owner, Joe, he came to have a look. He asked ME where the original dirt that his guy dug from around the sprinklers was when he replaced them. I told him I had no idea. Then he asked me why I was not more specific with his guy about what dirt to use. I told him I did not think It was my job to micro manage his employees and they should have sense enough to know not to pile debris on top of new sprinklers. Joe was rude, short and indignant. He told me in a very condescending tone that he would have done it the same way and acting like there was something wrong with me for expecting his guy to have NOT used only the CLEAN part of the dirt to place around the sprinklers. After $400.00 to replace like 4 sprinkler heads and a promise of after service if the coverage was not correct, I can't get them back out here. How's that for service? Not so great.

I just had work in my yard done by heart of Texas. They did a great job! The only and main problem…read morewas afterwards and I got their bill. It was as they had quoted me except they wanted another $66 because I was paying with a credit card. This was something they didn't tell me about until they sent me the bill. If I had known they were going to charge me for using my credit card I would have never used them. They should have quoted me that charge at first and given me the chance to use them or someone that doesn't charge for credit card use. Poor business practice and I will never use them again.

If I wanted to mow 3/4 acre worth of weeds I would not of cared to get sod. 3 months after my sod…read morewas installed I am looking at a yard full of weeds and sections of my yard that are almost certainly damaged. I tried to reach out to HOT 3 times and got essentially blown off each time. If I had to guess either HOT does not pretreat the grounds to kill existing weeds before laying new sod, or someone half assed the job. I can perfectly understand some weeds on a new lawn just not this quantity, something was obviously not done right. Not to mention my flower bed is looking quite sad but that is more likely due to icepocalypse of '21.
