Very small but intimate, warm place with lots of little nooks and cool little places to cuddle up with your special one and a few great pints. Live music was excellent, and it definitely filled the place, making it actually a bit too hot for my comfort, but that's how the English do it. Seating outdoors as well for the smokers. Small bar food menu, but also an upper restaurant part as well with full menu of your usual British food. In the day it tends to be filled with people with no-where else to go. The beer is cheap, the wine cheaper still, and the food is actually pretty OK for the price. Due to the size of the place, the kitchen may as well be in a different county, so food is often a little less hot than expected, but generally the quality and portion sizes are OK. Overall, good food, low prices. family friendly.
