The following night we decided to have a meal here, the food was fresh and sourced locally; I was impressed with the quality and the price of our meals. I had Prawns as a starter followed by steak with all the trimmings, my partner had Steak Pie followed by Lemon Meringue all for £36.00 and that included a bottle of wine. In the day it tends to be filled with people with no-where else to go. The beer is cheap, the wine cheaper still, and the food is actually pretty OK for the price. Due to the size of the place, the kitchen may as well be in a different county, so food is often a little less hot than expected, but generally the quality and portion sizes are OK. Overall, good food, low prices. family friendly.
