They offer a wide range of classes throughout the week--morning, afternoon, and evening--with options for every skill level, from beginner and relaxation to back therapy and advanced. I first discovered them through their amazing intro special for locals: three weeks of unlimited yoga for just \$59. It was the perfect way for me to try something I had always wanted to do but didn't know where to start. After the intro period, you can choose from various membership packages, pay-as-you-go, or even try their online remote classes if you prefer to practice at home. What really won me over, though, were the incredible teachers and the supportive community. It didn't matter what your body type was--curvy, slim, recovering from injury, or anything else--everyone was welcomed with open arms. The atmosphere was so positive, and I never once felt out of place. I have knee issues, so there were a few positions I couldn't do, but I was always able to communicate that at the start of each class. The instructors would offer modifications or alternatives, which made me feel cared for and supported. On top of regular classes, SYC also hosts workshops and mini music concerts with yoga--another great way to experience the studio. Overall, SYC is a truly welcoming place to practice yoga, no matter where you're starting from.

I have tried a few yoga places in the past and none of them really clicked for me. I have always…read morebeen intimidated by the weird breathing and the twisty positions. I am also a girl that likes to feel challenged while I work up a good sweat and I always felt that yoga did not give me that good of a workout... that is until now. First of all SPY is a hot yoga studio, (although they do offer a few non heated classes) the room is heated to 90 degrees. It is definitely hot, but it is bearable. I have been to a few studios where I felt like I had a hard time breathing because the heat was just too much! Second, there is a space here for every level of Yogi! I am a beginner, but there are people in this studio that can do headstands and all the crazy impressive positions that you can imagine. What I like is that you won't feel out of place if you are not able to do the bendy twist. You will be motivated to improve your skills without being encouraged to go where your body shouldn't. I have been to all of the classes here and all of the instructors are fabulous. I would highly encourage a beginner to attend the basics class first as you will get a firm foundation of the basic moves that are used in this studio. What is even more fabulous is that there is not only an instructor in these classes, but also a person that moves around the room and helps to move your body into the correct form for maximum performance. At SPY they don't just tell you the position and leave you to your own devices, they take the time to explain how to position yourself for correct form. There is also a Community Yoga class that is offered for $8, which is a pretty good deal for yoga! I have been to a lot of different classes at all different times and they are all fairly full. With this in mind, I would arrive at lease 10 minutes before class to claim your prime spot. I would recommend bringing your own mat and towel, although they do offer them for a small fee. They allow you to borrow the yoga blocks for class and they have lavender scented water that you can spray on your mat. At the end of each class you will be given a cool, lavender scented towel that you place on your face during relaxation. It is the best part of class and takes this yoga studio to another level, it is so relaxing and soothing to the senses. I just finished taking advantage of the three week, $30, new client package! It is a deal that should not be missed out on! I am now addicted to Yoga. Since becoming a beginner yogi, I have noticed that my core and my shoulder (which was injured last year) feels firmer and stronger. I always feel challenged when I come to class. My body feels as if it is lengthening and getting leaner and I feel fabulous when the class is over. The instructors here will make you feel welcome. They remembered my name and signed me in every time I attended class from the first day I signed up. I never even had to get out my member card! I don't know if any other studio could come close to comparing to Savannah Power Yoga, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Oh my god, I'm in love. Truly…read more I was looking around online for metaphysical shops in Savannah because I was driving down for my birthday. Considering the Covid-19 situation, I wasn't sure who was open and who wasn't. Ordinary Magic popped up and I loved the aesthetic of the shop in the photos. After checking out their Instagram account, I saw that they were offering shipping and local delivery. I figured since I was going to be right downtown, it was worth reaching out to see if they'd allow me to do curbside pickup. I sent a DM and they got back to me right away saying they could make it work! I was super excited. I placed my order online (side note: prices are great) and was given a coupon code to bypass shipping costs. Since they said they'd have my order reading and waiting, I thought sweet, they must be hanging out down there... nope! Turns out, when I placed my order, they had an employee go in to pack everything up (THANK YOU ANDREA!!!) and set it out for me. Everything was wrapped carefully and a thank you note was included. Talk about amazing customer service. Can you imagine any other company having staff go in to fulfill orders after they'd already gone home for the day? Earthbound could NEVER. After driving home, I finally got to unwrap my new crystals and take a look at everything... these are hands down the most beautiful crystals I've ever seen. I've never seen anything like this before and at such low prices, pretty unreal. Needless to say, I'm super satisfied with Ordinary Magic and I can't wait until life is back to normal so I can go back and see everything in person!!
