I love the hub! I would consider myself a beginner at working out, but I've been to a few classes at the hub and feel so welcome. I appreciate their willingness to help and provide motivation and modifications. They also have a faith-based class which is something I really enjoy! I've been in love with the Hub since I joined using their 30-day special (~$60), and opted to join because I love the class selections and times. They have early morning yoga, spin, barre and Pilates classes that vary throughout the week so I really love that. It's been hard finding variety for the times that work for me. I've always been greeted when I enter, there's cubbies for your items (kind of wish they were at a high level, but the cubbies double as seating which is nice.). The bathrooms are always clean and plenty of room for showering, changing, and getting ready for the day. Plenty of parking in the spots in front of the space and the lot across the street. The only feedback is that there be a water refill station (especially with the heated classes). read more

I recently moved to Savannah and wanted to reach out to meet new people. When I went in I was immediately met with rude, dismissive and unprofessional employees. The lady at the front desk scoffed and laughed when I asked where a class was. She was very rude asking "are you new or something". When I left a review on them I got a call from the owner who was also rude and claimed that my interaction never happened because "I don't hire people like that". However, her reviews on Google said other wise, until she took them down. Honestly I'm getting second hand embarrassment for the employees that work here, they are so incredibly snotty and stuck up. 1000% do NOT recommend!!! read more

I enjoy my time at the Hub!!!!! I just completed the 30-day trial for $69. I appreciate the variety of classes they offer. Barre by far has been my favorite. Pilates is tough but if you keep at it it's extremely valuable. I wish I could have done more yoga here, but the times didn't align with my schedule. Even the core workouts were just what I needed. The location is convenient with an abundance of parking. They have clean bathrooms and changing areas they also offer health food and beverages. read more

Recently, I moved to Savannah and visited the Hub to inquire about the classes and membership pricing. It was very apparent that the management was not interested in me joining the gym. I was looking to join a high-quality and high caliber gym. The Hub left a horrible first impression. 1- When I arrived to the gym, I was not greeted or acknowledged, and had to interrupt the chatter amongst the employees. 2- When the juice bar/front desk clerk finally acknowledged me. She told me that the manager was teacher a class. She didn't offer to take my information and pass it along. When the manager finished the class, the juice bar/front desk clerk did not inform the manager that I was waiting. I had to go into the studio to find the manager. 3- When I finally did get the opportunity to speak to the manager, she did not address my specific questions or concerns. Instead, she told me that everything is online and that I should look there. The questions that I asked were not addressed online and I told her this. She said that she would need to look up the information which is fine. She was not willing to even look up the information that I asked. It is very apparent and obvious that the Hub is not interested in my membership. I found everyone to be abrasive. read more

I tried to go here once but forgot my mat. They didn't have rentals. I understood because of COVID rentals aren't being done, so I asked if I could buy a mat from them. There were mats sitting in the little store area and they said no. I couldn't participate in the class. They were at least nice enough to let me defer the cost of my class to another day. I came back for the class and it started off okay. The class was pretty crowded and I felt claustrophobic, I think maybe they should be limiting sizes a bit more. However my biggest issue was the heat. I've taken many bikram classes throughout my years, and I've never been unable to complete the class. The instructor cranked the heat at the start, and then I think forgot to check it/turn it back off, so the temp just kept climbing. It took one of the students going over to the thermostat and flagging that it was now 107 F in the room for the teacher to notice. Bikram should never get hotter than 105! People were dropping like flies! Multiple people left the room. Over half the class sat on their mats, unable to participate. A lot of the class got dizzy and nauseous. So unsafe!! The instructor apologized to a few of us after the class, but didn't offer any refunds on the class, despite multiple people having to leave the room or unable to do the moves due to her making it way too hot. She got a little pushy that I come back since it's usually not like this. In the locker room, one of the regulars told me that she often took the heat to the extreme and that I should come on other days instead if I wanted a more normal bikram experience. Unfortunately the days I could make it fall mostly on days that instructor teaches so I won't be back. It's way too expensive anyways! read more

I like to sweat and I love hot yoga. I simply cannot do plain, boring, room temperature yoga. I tried out the studio for a month, and I probably went 10 times. It was a bit of a drive for me. Because I was just trying out a new studio, I didn't know anything about Bikram yoga. I learned that I still enjoy the hot temperature of the room, but I do not like Bikram yoga. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming to new members. The studio is impeccably clean, with showers and a changing area. It's a carpet floor, for those of you trying to get a sense of the studio. Nothing bad about this place, only a good experience but not my mat o' yoga. read more

Brutal. This place is expensive and their classes are NOT conducive to different experience/practice levels. During both one of the barre and yoga classes I found myself just doing my own flow. There was no respect for peoples time- as classes start late and end late. I sat in the front for a good amount of time waiting for my first class and no one greeted me or offered to show me around. I had a great green smoothie here today! I have never been in this place before, and didn't even know they had smoothies, juices, and açaí bowls - yum! The smoothie was pretty good, and had coconut water in it which gave it a nice flavor. I took a barre class at The Hub during a girls getaway weekend in Savannah. When we arrived at the studio we were informed we needed a mat and it would be an $8.00 charge. Being from out of town, it was our first class ever at the studio, and not being informed we needed a class I thought that was a little much for a mat rental and thought they would wave the fee - but proceeded to pay for the charge. The following day my card was charged not $8.00 but $10.00. When I called the studio she told me they had to charge $10.00 as it was a minimum....they did say they would refund me my "$2.00" which I didn't need. The studio should have made that more clear .... anyway just know if you go to this studio you have to bring a mat and it's $10.00 + the cost of the class. Pretty expensive! read more

Great hot yoga class H60. It's bikram method, it's the correct temperature and very clean. It's not crowded or smelly. The spin class was also challenging and the bikes were in tip top shape. I did the 21 days for 49$ and was able to try a wide variety of classes. There are showers and lockers. The bathroom has blow dryer. The juice bar is by far my favorite and love the energy balls. read more

I love Bikram Yoga on Habersham sooo much! When the foot takes its first step in the room, the heat is slightly intimidating, but that's only because it takes a few classes for the body to become used to it. After a while, your body craves getting in the hot room and sweating out all the stress. Coming here has become a haven for me. Just like a massage, when I finish my yoga routine it feels like I go through the rest of my day with a whole new body and mind! The instructors are also amazing....It's like having a coach with you along the way. They are very grounded in their own practice and have really brought me so much support and encouragement through my own journey. I'm hooked on Bikram! read more

My husband and I were visiting my parents on Tybee Island, and I didn't want to miss our weekend hot yoga class. We've been going to Red Hot Yoga in Atlanta for about 4 months, and we were definitely well prepared for this class. The order of the poses for most of the class was identical to the 90 minute class we are use to in Atlanta. The only pose that was missing was "thunderbolt." I didn't realize that it was missing until we were on our way back to Tybee. If I lived in Savannah, I think I'd be at this studio every day. The lobby and locker room was very clean and the décor was minimalistic. I was a little hesitant about the idea of hot yoga with carpet, but it seemed to be very clean and there was no sweaty odor. We arrived 30 minutes before the 3pm class started on Saturday, which was plenty of time to get a spot and relax in the heat for a while. When the class started the room was full with plenty of personal space. We're use to having only about 6 inches between each mat in Atlanta. The gentleman that instructed our class was great. I always appreciate having someone explain something in a new way that helps me "get" a pose. Before this class, I had never tried to toe stand. I wasn't able to balance without my fingers on the ground, but I was at least able to get into the position. Also, the class is done with the lights on. Then they are turned off later in the class. The room is very long, but it is only maybe a very cramped 3 rows deep. It was nice being able to see how much progress I have made in the mirror since the class was not crowded and the lights were on. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone just starting out in Birkram yoga. I don't recall there being any sort of, "and the more advance people do this." They didn't even ask the more experienced students to be on the front row. I love my studio in Atlanta, but it there was a sense of everyone working together but at their own pace without making a big deal over those who are more advanced. It was a nice change. My only suggestion to the studio would be to have a 2nd instructor to walk thru the class and help with poses and corrections. It is a lot less distracting and embarrassing to have someone help you quietly, rather than pointing out that you're doing something wrong to the whole class. I loved the studio, and I definitely plan to go back whenever we're visiting my parents. read more

I'm staying in Hilton Head, but needed to get my Bikram fix while on vacation. I decided to make the 2 hour round-trip effort to take a class in Savannah. This is the cleanest (visual and smell) Bikram studio that I have ever been to. It's super modern; clean lines, bright colors, nice floors. It was just lovely. The only reason I review Bikram studios is so people know what they are getting, as far as the studio conditions. I like to know ahead of time if I have to shower in a communal space, or if there is going to be enough space in the room. The locker-room was sizable, with 2 individual showers. The room itself isn't huge, but isn't small. It seems like they could fit 3 tight rows if they had to. The class I took wasn't very big, so I had plenty of room. The rug was super cool, and clean. Really, the cleanest non-smelly yoga rug I've ever seen. The teacher was very nice, and helpful when I signed in. My only issue is the lack of a student discount. Maybe there are no students in Savannah? Oh well. Overall, a great yoga experience. read more

Here's my review of my first Bikram (Hot) Yoga: Upon entering the studio I was very happy with the decor and the calmness of the space. I provided my paperwork to the instructor at the desk and he informed me of the space and where the bathroom/locker room was. The locker room area wasn't large, and it was a little tight, but overall a decent space. Every one in the locker room was very friendly and upon hearing that it was my first time repeatedly told me to take it slow and don't attempt to do everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the camaraderie and that I wasn't made to feel like the newbie invading their precious space! Once I entered the Hot room I wasn't attacked by the heat but warmed by it. I found a spot and proceeded to relax and be in the moment. Once the instructor (Kris) came in out of nowhere he acknowledged me by my first name and told me exactly what the other participants said, to take it slow, push my body where I feel I can. That my personal goal was to not leave the room and to take my time through the poses. I felt like he was extremely attentive to all of us in the room, addressing everyone by name and giving guidance where it was needed. Ultimately I felt wonderful coming and going. I felt like I had accomplished something. And typical to my after yoga feeling I felt calmer, cleansed and soothed. Oh and there was no smell!! I will definitely visit this studio again! read more

I went to my first class last Saturday and wasn't in love with it while doing it, but after the class I was hooked and have already purchased a 1 month unlimited class pass! If you have never tried Bikram before be prepared because it is intense your first time, you will sweat, you will want to give up, but if you just keep going you will learn to love it and the benefits it brings to you. read more

I was visiting from out of town and was excited to go to a class after reading Ashley W's review of the studio. Unfortunately, even though it looks like I go to the same hot studio as her in Atlanta, I did not have the same experience. Pros: extremely clean, beautiful, and very spacious studio. The staff at the desk was extremely friendly. The bathroom and changing space is super spacious as well as very hygienic.There was plenty of room in my mid morning class, so there was lots of personal space. It was easy to find via google maps and I got there in about 10-15 minutes from downtown Savannah. Cons: Perhaps this was because I am used to the hot sequence (and it's flexibilities due to modifications they give), I was pretty unhappy with how Bikram works (in general). The instructor was very rigid in the movements he told us to do. I have an old knee injury, that I recently realized was aggravated due to some yoga moves I can do, but shouldn't be doing, I tried to do the modifications I was taught at my yoga studio, but the instructor wouldn't have it. I told him I had an injury and he told me to work through the pain. I'm sorry, but I am NOT interested in being in pain for another month because someone won't give me a modification for something I KNOW I need one for. My knee had JUST stopped hurting a week beforehand, I did not want to go back through that. I hear that some Bikram studios are "flexible" (for lack of a better word) with giving modifications...this is clearly not one of them. I spoke with my physical therapist father in law, and he agreed that they shouldn't be so rigid. When I was talking to the instructor after class, he would hardly let me get a word in edgewise, and then told me that I just shouldn't do Bikram if I wasn't willing to do all the poses. That same instructor also barked out orders from his podium, calling people out left and right. He didn't actually go and adjust anyone's postures. He just had this thing in his voice that sounded endearing at first, but then after a while it sounded like he was talking down to his students, instead of encouraging those who needed assistance or going over to whisper to them calmly. This has turned me off of Bikram, but maybe I'll try a class at the Decatur Bikram studio sometime this summer and feel better about it. I hear they offer modifications and are a lot more easy going. Maybe I just need to stick to hot? read more

I love this place! The staff are always very friendly, and the teachers are great at pacing the class so it's good for anyone no matter what level of yoga you're at. I've been to a few bikram studios and this is one of my favorites. The studio is clean with plenty of room so everyone has enough space. While peak times can be a little crowded it's never too bad. I absolutely love Bikram Yoga Savannah and I highly recommend to anyone looking to relieve stress and the inner toxins out of your body. After 30 days I noticed how less stressed and responsive my body had become. I will most definitely be returning. This place is great! You might feel intimidated on your first visit, but you'll fit right in! Friendly staff who are very helpful and knowledgable. The owner of this studio does not care about her students and is obviously only concerned about money. I am in graduate school, living off of student loans and had easily given this studio over $500 because I was so impressed with the practice of Bikram yoga. I payed $20 for my first class and then $120 for 10 class packages (as is standard with all Bikram studios). However, they make you use the classes in 1 month or else you must buy another package. Other studios I have been to allow you 60 days to use the packages you have bought- which is extremely considerate especially since the whole idea behind Bikram is that they want you to practice everyday. Then, they began a new student introductory rate for $25 for 10 days of unlimited yoga. I was unable to get this deal, being a paying member of the studio at the time. A few months later they released a Groupon for the same rate. Again, I was not allowed to purchase this due to the fact I had been coming to yoga for a few months. I quit going to the studio because I was upset with the recent situations and could not afford the $120/ month on student loans. Then, I am back living in Savannah after being away from the practice for 9 months. I go to my first "Karma" class that benefits charity and a wonderfully sweet new teacher there tells me I can do the 10 day new student deal for $25 since it has been so long since I have been there. I had plans to go out of town the next two weekends so I planned on signing up today. Well, low and behold the owner will not allow to me to do so since I have been coming to the Karma classes which I had been informed did not count against me. I can tell you from personal experience that Charleston Bikram yoga and other studios that I have been to are much more concerned about their students and less about the money as this one in Savannah is. Not only do they provide student discounts and various sales on passes but they also allow the 60 days to use your classes AND they give you ice cold towels at the end to put on your aches and pains and help ease any areas that are hurting you. I am sure you don't care as this is the only studio around and you probably got the discounts being a new students. But I never did. And the funny thing is I even got a card in the mail the week before I went to my first Karma class- from them saying how they have missed me! Ironic don't you think? This studio is so amazing that I had to do my first Yelp review ever. I have been practicing Bikram yoga since 2008 and have been to numerous studios throughout NYC and southern Florida.This studio is the cleanest, friendliest, and most spacious of any Bikram studio I have ever been to. The teachers are all very helpful and make a point to know you by name. The owner, Leslie, obviously takes a lot of pride in her studio. I used to believe that extremely stinky studios was just a part of Bikram yoga due to the heat and sweat. This studio is so well taken care of that when I took my first class I thought the studio must have just opened because there is NO SMELL AT ALL! The studio has been open for over two years yet feels brand new. The bathrooms are spacious and cleaner than most people's home bathrooms. I cannot say enough good things about this studio. I sincerely hope that the people who have only practiced Bikram yoga at this studio realize how lucky they are because this studio is amazing. I am temporarily in Savannah for work and it will be sad to say goodbye to Bikram Yoga Savannah next week. read more
