I admire that this is a small business that supports and empowers women, but there is no need to treat your fellow community members and customers like trash. Inversions has done this for me in the best way possible! I am 39 years old, but I'm dancing like I did in high school! I recently completed Lisa's (the owner) 12 week nutrition and exercise challenge, during which I learned how to eat well, gained strength, lost body fat - and most importantly gained confidence in myself. Inversions just recently relocated and the new studio space is perfect - I love dancing in the glow of the multi-colored lights! Every time I walk into the studio, I just automatically relax and my problems vanish for the next hour as I focus on learning the next new dance move or pole trick. Cons: -When I advanced to a certain level, the price increased -Only had one day to chose from for a level 4 class at one point which was inconvenient if you had to miss a class and needed to reschedule because you would have to reschedule for a level 1, 2, or 3 class which was cheaper than the level 4 class -- so you ended up paying extra for a level 2 class. -No refunds offered (As a military member with a constantly changing schedule and deployments, this created an obstacle and caused me to miss a lot of events offered as I did not want to loose out on alot of money to reserve a spot only to be deployed, which ended up happening once due to the owner changing the date of an event)

We made reservations for a private class for a bachelorette party over a month ago. At that time we…read moremade a deposit over the phone. We arrived promptly at our scheduled time and no one was present. We called the number and the manager/owner who takes care of bookings answered. She advised us that another party cancelled so she told her staff to "bounce." She said she would call us back. After five minutes we tried to call her again and it went straight to voicemail. She finally called us back and advised someone would be there in ten minutes and that she would give us a discount. Our instructor Amber showed up 15 minutes after the call. She let us in the building and there was a lot of confusion in the paperwork that needed to be signed. She appeared to not actually work there, it was more like she was called last minute. When it came to the payment we were required to give our card information the owner over the phone. She also added another fee for processing a card- twice without notice. This fee was not required at the time of the deposit. So I believe they were just trying to obtain as much money as they could since they were giving us a discount for their mistake. After we got started there was not any structure to how we were being taught. It consisted of us watching her more than anything. When we booked the class we were told it would be pole dancing, chair dancing, and twerking. We did not get taught all three, just pole dancing, if you could call it that. Amber was very sweet but we ended up cutting the class short because we were not satisfied with the class. Do yourself a favor and watch a YouTube video at home!
