At first sight the building isn't much to look at I'll admit we were a bit deterred by the location. We walked inside and we're immediately greeted by a cute fluffy puppy. Haha! The inside of this place was very well kept and clean. We were then greeted by Bill who ask us all kinds of questions to get us exactly what we were looking for. Morgan answered all my calls kindly (there were many haha) the entire staff was awesome. The price at this place is UNBEATABLE. After we made our selection a couple weeks down the road we put our deposit down and someone came out to do measurements and shortly thereafter guess what, that beautiful lustrous carpet was installed by Scott & Steve. They took that nasty, never been cleaned carpet out of our newly purchased home and took care not to make a mess. These guys know there stuff . They were quick and did a fine job. I paid $45,000 for Mark Carlisle Home Improvement to install a Trex boardwalk and dock on my…read moreproperty with a 5 year warranty for workmanship. I have had the deck for about 2 years now and am having a lot of trouble with it. At first my outdoor lighting that was on the boardwalk and dock started giving me problems. I had my lighting guys come out and they said all the outdoor, all-weather grade fasteners and fittings that they had put on were no longer on and causing all my problems. It turns out Mark Carlisle's crew who took the lights off to install the new boardwalk and dock threw those good fasteners and fittings away on the ground and replaced with cheap indoor fittings after I specifically told them to keep them and use them to put the lighting back on. That is the smaller problem. The big problem is that I was told the Trex fasteners were not available so they used screws to fasteners the Trex and now I am ha ing problems with warping and keeping the Trex secured. This is a tripping hazard and creates an unsafe condition. When i brought this to Mark's attention, at first he said he would replace the Trex and have the lights fixed back to original and now he is not doing that when we have a written 5 year warranty on the work. It is very disappointing and will probably have to go to court. Very unprofessional work done by the crew and a total disregard for the warranty that he guaranteed. I recommend not using this contractor for any home project as the crew did a terrible job and the person is completely dishonest. Avoid yourself the headache.
