They have two levels - the first level features a large lounge-like space with a coffee bar. Patio space is also available on nicer days. There are a few phone rooms available and there is also a communal working space that is designed for quiet working. The rented office spaces are also surrounding this area. The second floor features a smaller lounge and more studio spaces so working space is more limited. I was able to find a few good spots to work from, however, they don't have big tables available outside of the communal quiet space so it isn't a spot to really lay out all of your work. Wifi was great and there are light refreshments available while you are there. I would recommend trying a day! Also perk for those of you with dogs, this place is dog friendly so you can bring your dog to work! They have a green area on the second floor.

However, a few things happened in my room that made my one night stay disappointing was: 1. My tv did not work. I tried to play Netflix and it played it for like 5 mins and then my tv went black. It kept doing that. 2. The first time I used the restroom the whole toilet paper holder fell out the wall. And there was no way to put it back without the constant falling. Other than these two things my stay was a great experience'

But sometimes working at home can just get us all crazy in the head. That open bottle of wine from last night is calling. The cats are screaming -- it's like, kitty, I just fed you and you still hungry? Babies, we just gotta change out of our softpants, put on some bigboy slacks, and get to work. For those of us that work for ourselves, having a place like the Study all local and stuff makes it so easy to please those clients. Our clients happy, Pubert happy. This dude that run the thing, Andy, the guy is legit. Andy'll take care of you. He keeps the Study real nice. Fast internet, lotsa desks and tables, quiet atmosphere. And listen, babies, this dude made us some pour-over coffee. Yeah, you heard that right. Dude busts out the Chemex and makes us coffee. We had to do a doubletake. We judge a coworking space by how much work we can pound out. And babies, you'll never believe how productively the Rose & Company rocked it while at the Study. Got them proposals out, them numbers crunched, the clients pleasured. With time to spare, we even busted out for a quick slurp over at the Goose Island tap room that is literally on the same block as the Study. Can't beat that, babies. Gimme them hops! Maybe you see us there next time you come in. Pubert all over the country these days, but Chicago is where we hang our hat. Even whispering makes you feel awkward. I was with a co-worker and we were whispering quietly to each other after walking in. I was saying hello, the usual greetings. A woman nearby walked over to tell us that we needed to not talk because she was trying to concentrate. I was so irritated that my coworker and I up and left. We worked the rest of the day at a nearby coffee shop that was warm and friendly. I'm not sure if whispering is banned in the main work area but if so, I didn't see any signs and we weren't given rules. I wasn't sure if I should have defended myself or if I was actually in the wrong. Overall cold and frustrating vibe for me. Will stick to coffee shops in the future.

It's a fantastic coworking space for those that are looking for a spot to do work that is well appointed, welcoming and community-focused. Their leadership sets them apart and rather than focusing on squeezing dollars from their membership - they want to build a helpful, strong and welcoming community for everyone. We have private desks which at the current rate is a steal for anything in Logan or other neighborhoods, but public space abounds for those not looking for a private space. There are conference rooms, phone booths and common areas that are all able to be reserved by their online system. I've been to a number of coworking spaces that are either incredibly pretentious or try so hard to be cool and edgy that they lose their purpose. People can actually get shit done here and meet others that are entrepreneurs who can benefit their company. We've added 3 contractors to our company roster simply by being here and they have added to the quality of work our company provides. The office space is clean and modern. I use a flex desk which is fine for my needs. The only concern I've ever had is that if you're not here earlier in the morning - and you need a dual-monitor desk - they fill up fast. I've found the people that share the space are very nice. A few tend to get loud on the phone at times, but no worse than if I were to work at a Starbucks. There are private phone areas as well - so most people use those. The staff is very quick to reply and friendly. I deal with Melissa the most and have found her professional and pleasant. The internet has been slow a few times (as stated below), but I think that's more of an issue with the provider versus this location. In any event, when this happens the problem is always addressed quickly. If you need a break from working at home, I'd suggest trying this out. Co-working spaces/office sharing helped me put more structure around my work day. And made me more productive. Can't complain on that.

Because I had to take a few meetings, I hung out on a pretty empty floor with a desk all to myself. WiFi was strong and there was hardworking staff cleaning around me the entire time. I walked around the building after I was done with work. Rooftop didn't seem super impressive, but I can imagine dressing it up for special events. Always love when there's an espresso machine in the kitchen, though the music is SUPER loud and the communal tables don't lock. Definitely vintage look with all the old-looking furniture. Overall solid work spot to check out if you're local or visiting Chicago. Spacious and perfect for all types of people and industries. Would love to be around the regulars next time!

I have been here since around August 2020 in the height of Coronavirus, so it's been a little quieter around here. But the energy is still high and perfect for working, studying or even relaxing back with a beverage from the coffee bar. Location is ideal as it's close to EVERYTHING from great restaurants to the lake. The lake is a quick 10-minute walk for an escape to meditate or maybe even a picnic lunch. In the last 6 months, I have seen a lot of change here at DeskLabs for the better. The owner has deliberately built a highly capable and customer oriented team lead by a new community manager, Kiely Cross. She is aces! Kiely and her team are dedicated to created a dynamic and inviting environment for their community. Unprofessional Treatment During Admission Process I had an…read moreunfortunate experience with the founder of Draymond Washington during an admission call. The interaction was extremely unprofessional and left me feeling disrespected. Instead of receiving a warm, welcoming, and informative conversation about the club, I was met with rude behavior and dismissiveness. I understand that running a social club can be stressful, but it's important to treat potential members with kindness and respect. This call was a stark contrast to the positive image I had of the club before. I hope the leadership takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how they communicate with prospective members. For now, I can't recommend this club based on my experience, as the treatment I received does not align with the values I would expect from any organization. I will also write a public review about this. I have also blocked the founder and your company from social media as the experience was so bad I would never want to be related to it. Thanks, RD Chemist
