The study was a great overall experience!…read more The valet was amazing! Staff was very sweet and accommodating. The place is beautiful and comfortable! The view of Chicago was stunning! However, a few things happened in my room that made my one night stay disappointing was: 1. My tv did not work. I tried to play Netflix and it played it for like 5 mins and then my tv went black. It kept doing that. 2. The first time I used the restroom the whole toilet paper holder fell out the wall. And there was no way to put it back without the constant falling. Other than these two things my stay was a great experience'

Aw dang. You never been to the Study? Babies, you gotta get out your house and get your work on…read moredown there. Seriously, if you're in the market for a coworking spot you gotta do yourself a solid and give the Study a slide. This place is the tops. You know how hard we work? Pubert can work. But sometimes working at home can just get us all crazy in the head. That open bottle of wine from last night is calling. The cats are screaming -- it's like, kitty, I just fed you and you still hungry? Babies, we just gotta change out of our softpants, put on some bigboy slacks, and get to work. For those of us that work for ourselves, having a place like the Study all local and stuff makes it so easy to please those clients. Our clients happy, Pubert happy. This dude that run the thing, Andy, the guy is legit. Andy'll take care of you. He keeps the Study real nice. Fast internet, lotsa desks and tables, quiet atmosphere. And listen, babies, this dude made us some pour-over coffee. Yeah, you heard that right. Dude busts out the Chemex and makes us coffee. We had to do a doubletake. We judge a coworking space by how much work we can pound out. And babies, you'll never believe how productively the Rose & Company rocked it while at the Study. Got them proposals out, them numbers crunched, the clients pleasured. With time to spare, we even busted out for a quick slurp over at the Goose Island tap room that is literally on the same block as the Study. Can't beat that, babies. Gimme them hops! Maybe you see us there next time you come in. Pubert all over the country these days, but Chicago is where we hang our hat. And when we home in Chicago and need to crank out some work, the Study is our spot. Convenient and quiet. That's our jam. Now get to work!

The Regus way is offering prime office locations and this location centrally located in Hyde Park is great! Right near lots of shops, restaurants and the new Whole Foods. Fully furnished and attractively at that - nice modern yet comfy space; and now all the values of fostering collaborative and creative efforts are achievable. Besides a set office space there are large meeting rooms that can be reserved as well as a large eating area with three large communal tables. You can also rent an office space for a few hours instead of monthly or long-term, heck even virtually so you have a business address. There is a receptionist front and center to assist you or people coming to your office. University Chicago has all of the prime offices with widow views of lovely Hyde Park. The only down side is that getting Wi-Fi access is the absolute worst and after lunch it doesn't appear staff tends to the trash in the kitchen as it seems to be overflowing when we have our late day meetings (4pm and after). Prices look very reasonable so if you are looking for a meeting space this would be a great go to.

We wanted a professional office with a more neighborhood feel that is accessible to our south side Chicago clients. When University CoWork opened last year, we immediately closed our expensive downtown office and got a $95 flexible membership, and then upgraded to a $295 dedicated desk. This allows us to do occasional work on the south side of Chicago. We now have a professional presence, and can meet our clients at our office closer to where they work and live. I love the phone and meeting rooms. Great technology. We are able to offer our clients parking and coffee in our beautiful new space. Our firm also hosts investment events in the University CoWork boardroom, classroom, and event spaces. The video wall with intrgrated speakers is a crowd pleaser. The first financial services firm in Woodlawn in decades, I particularly enjoy bringing knowledge related to investments and retirement accounts to the neighborhood. Dozens of people who have attended our talks have learned about and set up tax-friendly retirement accounts as a direct result of being exposed to this information. We have also hired people from Woodlawn, and patronize south side vendors as much as possible. I strongly recommend University CoWork to anyone looking to grow their business. The facility and business / nonprofit community are unmatched. The other members have complimentary areas of expertise. Many have become vendors, clients, and friends. I have learned about branding, how to build business credit, social media, and even how to use art to engage people. The $50 virtual office, private office, shared office, membet-only events and socials, and communuty events are unparalleled.

When I got my matcha it had no matcha flavor. I took off the lid and saw it was a very, very light green color. Hoping it was an off day, or they need to rethink the matcha powder they are using.

There seems to be those who still think others will do their dishes, not cool. Overall though it's nice and clean. - Snack options, this is on the honor system and seemed to be followed, they have chips, la croix, etc available Needing Improvement: - Transparency: Be warned there is a $100 "set up" fee with the membership, this is not stated anywhere on the site. - Security: Anyone and everyone were walking in and out of the building. It appears as though you need to be buzzed in but nope, all you had to do was pull the door handle and walk right in. - Space: this place gets crowded, fast! Get here early and be prepared to share your space. - Outlets: where are they? In the phone booths, there are no outlets. I understand this may be the case to minimize the amount of time using them but what if you go to take a call and need to charge your phone? - Outlet cont. The few that are available are huge holes in the ground which are a big fall factor (see picture). I almost placed my foot in this while trying to maneuver through tables to a seat. One could easily twist their ankle with this. - Available staff: this was my first time coming here and when I walked in, it wasn't clear where the front desk was, WHY? Because no one was there. The person who is to be there would leave often for long periods of time. For members, this may be ok, but for the newbie this is confusing. - LOUD music: they play music in the sound system and it's loud. I could hear it while wearing headphone listening to a podcast. - Chairs: they are ok but a more comfortable one could be had

You can get a panoramic view of Chicago - the lake and iconic buildings. There's a cafe at the top and we were treated to a wonderful and delicious Chicago Fog latte. It was the best tea latte I've had! It was so good- I was ready to work for Salesforce! The top of the tower was very comfortably furnished and decorated. I'm not sure how anyone gets work done. However this is the place to be for inspiration and creativity. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Got a tour of the break room facilities. I can tell that Salesforce really takes care of their employees. There were many work spaces available and the rooms were very comfortable. That Chicago Fog latte really was very memorable! It's a fantastic coworking space for those that are looking for a spot to do work that is well appointed, welcoming and community-focused. Their leadership sets them apart and rather than focusing on squeezing dollars from their membership - they want to build a helpful, strong and welcoming community for everyone. We have private desks which at the current rate is a steal for anything in Logan or other neighborhoods, but public space abounds for those not looking for a private space. There are conference rooms, phone booths and common areas that are all able to be reserved by their online system. I've been to a number of coworking spaces that are either incredibly pretentious or try so hard to be cool and edgy that they lose their purpose. People can actually get shit done here and meet others that are entrepreneurs who can benefit their company. We've added 3 contractors to our company roster simply by being here and they have added to the quality of work our company provides.
