I don't recommend this place. Moved into a dirty and dusty apartment after waiting for over 3 weeks for it to be cleaned. All of the vents were packed with balls of dirt and spiders. So dusty you would sneeze upon entry. They painted over dirty and greasy cabinets. Toilet was running for days & no one came to fix it even after going to the office. The neighbors are so nasty. Letting their dogs poop right in front of your door & not picking up. Flies from the poop enters your unit and trash bags full of trash dumped in the parking lot. You have to call several times & visit the office for maintenance issues to be fixed. I wrote a review after enduring for months & was given a NOTICE OF LEASE TERMINATION on the same day. They are very bias & deal with you based on your skin color. You pay for pest control but you have to call & call to have them show up, roaches all over the place. Such a mess. Don't do it if you're thinking about this place. read more

Great location. Great cosmetic upkeep compared to The Parks at Rosemeade (literally across the street). Where this place doesn't do it for me is the cost, and then their upgrade system. So a basic apartment is like $785, but you'll have to literally pay for every upgrade you want. Fresh counters (not granite)? $15 per month. All your appliances, including microwave and dishwasher? Oh, that's $30 or $40 per month. Want to have brushed nickel finishes? Add another $15-$25 per month. Like are you serious? You're shown an upgraded unit with a tiny microwave, and then you're told, "Yeah, these all have additional costs." Just work all the upgrades into a flat cost instead of trying to pump extra money out of the tenants. I would rather know what I see is what I get, and that the price includes that, instead of picking apart everything to avoid another $150 on my rent. Staff is super friendly... place seems to have great people. But I'm not doing all of that. read more

I have lived here for almost 5 years and enjoy it. They have great events for the residents. Staff is friendly. Maintenance issue are typically done in a reasonable time. My biggest complaint is the trash compactor is overflowing a lot of the time, this has been an ongoing issue for years. Staff in the office is always changing. 3 managers in a year. I lost count on how many assistant managers and leasing agents in the past year. The events for the residents are nonexistent now. No monthly newsletter. Great Location with a lot of issues. When I moved in I was not informed of robberies at this location, even when I asked the front desk. So guess what? I got robbed. That is how I found out this location has several robberies a month. Next issue, they cannot get billing correct. I give my check to the leasing office, just to be told they lost it. I am confused on how this happens considering they are in their office when I give it to them. Change of staff, staff rotates over and over again. I have seen 6 front desk clerks in 1 year. That is a new one every 2 months. Final issue, I have also moved out and it is now May almost end of May. I do not have my deposit back yet, even though I was not charged for any damages. Really? I moved out at the end of Feb. It is now 3 months later and I have not resolution. What makes this worse is that the office does not have billing correct so I hear a different story as to why I will not get my deposit back. So I constantly have to check my back checks to see if I really paid something a year ago. Just to find out that I did, and so the office goes back to "find" out what happened. I have been living at Willows on Rosemeade for 2.5 years. I love it! I never had any problems my my neighbors and its very quiet at night. The management team here does a very good job. Lindsay is awesome, anything that needs to get done it gets done within 24-48 hours. I like how i have a washer and dryer in my apartment. Plenty of parking for guests and affprdable. I highly reccommend living here. read more

My family and I have been residents here for approx. 3 years and could not be more satisfied with the way management and maintenance are always willing to help and resolve any issue that may arise, I can't imagine the amount of work behind the scenes that a property of this size requires. I enjoy the spacious floor plan, the neighbors are non intrusive for the most part, parking is always available near my apartment and it's quite affordable comparatively. Yes, the complex is older and therefore has its quirks but as I said management and maintenance are on top of things without micro managing it's residents, and they plan super fun community events. This complex is also in my child's school district and the school bus stops several times on Rosemeade which is convenient when we are running late! I imagine we will be staying for the foreseeable future. read more

If you're looking for somewhere run down, this is the place for you! It used to be a nice complex, but air conditioner is always out, the pathways are disgusting, paint on building is peeling and it looks disgusting, you have to haul your trash super far to the dumpster if you don't live in a unit near it (most of us have to drive our trash to the dumpster due to the haul), the grounds are alway dirty with trash and glass, parking is terrible if you come home after 8pm, it's hard to get in contact with the office by phone (I've saw them bluntly ignore the phone and make comments about not answering), repairs? Ha! Forget about it. I know no complex is perfect, but I've definitely lived in better and seen better. This place will trick you into thinking it's decent, but it's really a dump! Can't wait until my lease is up!! read more

The Willows on Rosemeade is a great place to live. I have lived there close to 10 years. I am super pleased. The management goes out of its way to make it a clean, safe environment. They did a quick fix when my water heater leaked ruining the carpet. I have never lived anywhere that is as nice and management is always wanting to get the community involved. I have only dealt with neighbors in a friendly way. They are quiet and if they are not you only need to call the office once to get them to not be so loud. They are pretty inexpensive, and I have 2 bedrooms when I wouldn't be able to have that in other more expensive complexs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable place to live. read more

I have lived here since June 2013. I have not had any issues. The biggest issue is the trash compactor and they have been doing a better job at keeping it where you can throw your trash in it instead of piling it up around the compactor. Maintenance repairs are done in a timely manner. The staff is great! I see the security officer driving around at night. Overall, I have enjoyed living here and will be renewing my lease soon! read more

Just going to give a recent review for my fellow yelpers checking this place out. Management has changed since all previous reviews. New management is okay, fairly friendly, though each individual will often tell you different things so be careful with that. The maintenance is handled pretty fast. I had a roof leak recently and they sent someone out fairly promptly to repair the roof and spray paint over the leak stain lol. They also repaired my dishwasher the same day I made the complaint so I appreciated their promptness. The parking here is not bad at all, though towing is enforced so be sure to follow all the rules. There is not much grass for dogs if you have them, and many people won't scoop their poop. Outside is well lit at night and (usually) well kept during the day. The maintenance men pick up what they can but sure enough there are some trashy people who can't seem to pick up after themselves...I came home one day and there was literally a used condom on the ground along with many other types of trash and litter so that tells you about some of the tenants. It can be loud at night, depends on your building. Smells like weed pretty often but that doesn't bother me much I guess. There are also random cars pulling up at all times of the day and sitting there bumping their stereos while they wait for their dealers, but again, this doesn't bother me too much because they are pretty harmless. Just giving info so you can use your own discretion. The appliances are outdated and the rent is probably not worth the price they charge but that's usually how it goes. I haven't experienced more than a handful of pest problems since I've been here. I had a unit on the bottom floor that had an ant problem but I took care of it myself. I've seen roaches occasionally but not often enough to bother me. If you get a unit with a fireplace, be sure the damper works because ours doesn't even open thus we cannot use the fireplace, so it just takes up a whole wall of space for nothing. Most units are pretty spacious and all around it's an okay place to live. Moving out soon, will update with the way they handle that process. read more

Don't really have any complaints. They handle your maintenance requests promptly but you have to call them don't put the request in through the portal they don't seem to get them. I had gnats when I first moved into my unit but I used the apple vinegar trick and they left after about a month. I think it's an ok price compared to some of the other places in the area. I'll most likely stay here until I get a house. Been living here almost 2 years. Have seen a lot of office turnover but no real affect on the community. Pretty quiet they host little events. The only downside is the kids that run around in the parking lot it appears the parents just let them run loose. Also the front office doesn't seem to know their own office hours. They will state they are open till 6 but I have had sever occasions where I pull up from rushing home and they have closed and locked the doors before 6 PM. Also they charge for online ACH payments and won't provide a drop box even though they close earlier than the posted office hours. I reduced my stars to 3. read more

Been here for a 2 years, its very quiet. Management takes care of maintenance quickly. However, hate the ugly carpet, have had trouble to have them change it. Place could use a little upgrades. But, I do enjoy the privacy and quietness. I like it's spacious and the extra office space. The maintenance on the outside of the complex is well maintain, you always see workers picking up the trash and keeping a nice lawn. They have activities for the tenants and keep tenants inform by email or text of what is going on. Every had problems finding parking. Have not had pest problems. read more

Please for the love of God, do not waste your money on this place. It has a beautiful landscape, and that alone seems to draw people in. I didn't pick this place and i wouldn't wish it upon anyone to have to live here. The Willows is rediculously over priced, and placed right next door to some of the shadier and more untrustworthy apartments in the area. Worse off, the managment team has absolutely no respect. They will find any possible reason to fine you. Me and my loved one got suckered into an apartment with a fireplace, and they threatened to fine us just for having firewood CONTAINED on our back patio right next to the door. The sight couldnt have been troubling anyone unless they were looking straight up, walking their dog purposely behind buildings, and had a serious problem with the sight of a small quantity of wood. In addition, they tried to fine me for having christmas lights ( rope lights) on my banister. Granted, this was after christmas had passed, but there was no sense to this at all. They were a nice decoration and worked well for small parties when people needed to find my apartment. Not to mention they left a note saying i only had 24 hours to remove it, and since i happen to work long hours closing a restaraunt, I got to disturb my neighbors by unravelling them at 4 in the morning, because i had no idea when that letter had been delivered. The maintenance staff seems to never get our requests unless we call and remind the office twice after initial problems. It has taken months to get small matters fixed because we were continuously forgotten. On that end, the wall fixtures were falling out of the wall since day one, and simply hanging a towel made one fall off completely. These people truely have no sense. The only thing they have successfully fined me for makes them worse than any other place ive lived so far, Im my opinion. Now let me start off by mentioning, Ive had to start out in some shady neighborhoods when i moved out, but in every other apartment ive lived, including those in less safe areas, they've had a drop box in an office door for money orders for rent. Here at the Willows i had the missfortune of repeatly working during their open hours when rent was due, so on the third day i missed their office hours by a hair and went looking for said drop box. They have none. And apparently they had already left for the day. I called them at openning the next morning and explained my situation to them and how i couldnt pay online, nor had any way to pay them via the expected drop box. The woman was very rude and simply put, said I would have to pay the late fee anyway, and of course, if i didnt pay that quickly there would be even more fees. This place is absolutely the worst thing i've ever signed up for, and i beg everyone looking for an apartment to keep looking. If this area is an absolute must then i would suggest 4343 Rosemeade. I've been here for 8 months now. This place is perfect for families or singles. Im a single girl, never lived alone, and moved from another state. The moving process was so simple with the help of the office staff. Upon arrival, my apartment hadn't been fully cleaned, but they were very apologetic, the manager went over himself to finish up things that were unfinished and got maintenance in there right away. They also took $100 off my rent for the inconvenience. I've had a few minor problems as all apartments do, leaks in the sink, leak in the AC, but maintenance is VERY quick, same day and fix it right away. I appreciate that. I feel so safe here! Its so cute. There are always people walking their dog, families up early for school and coming home from school, no loud noises or anything. I've come home at 1 a.m before and didnt feel uncomfortable in the slightest walking up to my door. All pathways to the apartments have automatic lights which i appreciate as well. The only reason I voted it a 4 is because the appliances arent updated, and the flooring is cheap, whoever painted after the last tenant did it carelessly and left paint splatter all over the hardwood floor. And I am bummed that for paying $900 a month I didnt get a microwave and get cheap appliances. But other than that small disappointment, the staff is great, maintenance is great, easy to pick up packages in the office, cute property, well kept, safe environment, close to sooooooo much!!
