This is the first cute looking cafe as you walk into the rather Yelp bereft Lyndhurst, as we know cute. It's located on the edge of the town close to the public car parking.
We were looking for somewhere interesting and calorific pre hike around the new forest and this little place fit the bill. My partner had clotted cream and scones while I had a cheese and ham omelette.
The omelette had good large chunks of ham and generous helpings of cheese while the scones/clotted cream were nice and traditional. The value was also pretty good though overall the food was not out of the ordinary.
There are plenty of other options in the town though the willow tree provides good service and great value food whilst also being quiet. The service was fast and the servers friendly perfect for a pre hike feast! A solid three stars, bordering on four. read more
