Day-of Coordination: Elena stood out not only on the wedding day but also in the months leading up to it. She was incredibly helpful during the planning process--offering thoughtful insight into creating a seamless timeline and even helping with ideas for decor and place settings tailored to our outdoor, beachy (and occasionally windy!) wedding. She thought of every detail, from preparing us in advance to get those dreamy photos (like the first kiss and cake cutting) to ensuring everything ran on schedule without a hitch. On the day, Elena was a true lifesaver. From the rehearsal to the ceremony and reception, I never once had to worry about where I needed to be or what was next. She kept everything moving smoothly, pointing me in the right direction while allowing me to fully enjoy the company of our guests and the magic of the day. And she always made sure we were taken care of (never without a drink in hand!). Her leadership and attention to detail made it all so effortless for us. Florals: Melissa tackled all of our floral arrangements, and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out! Working within my limited budget, she brought my vision to life with stunning florals that perfectly matched our style and the seaside setting. I booked her early and we initially just did a couple meetings to discuss our vision and needs regarding coordination, vendor contracts and florals since we did not need a full-planning service, only partial. She was always upfront and gave me honest opinions especially when it came to where to splurge and save, and what could look good and what wouldn't. The last 2 months is where she really shined, helping us follow up with vendors on details, setting deadlines for me to book rentals, reviewing contracts and constantly doing sanity checks when I needed it. The day of, she came extremely prepared, everything flowed smoothly (except some technical issues on part of the venue) and she was great at going with the flow and just letting the vibe and natural mood of the day go, and fixing whatever problems I threw at her. We also had her as our florist and she truly out did herself- her prices were incredibly reasonable and she handled everything like a champ when her assistant got sick the day of the reception. She also took my back and forth floral design suggestions and changes very well, as I am quite particular on details in some areas and deferred to her expertise in others. Honestly could not have done it without her and she was without a doubt my #1 worth it vendor! Would absolutely hire her for all your wedding planning and floral needs.

She made everything so easy from the moment we hired her through our wedding day. She is kind, easy to talk to, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we met her. They say something goes wrong at every wedding however at our wedding everything went perfectly and that was all due to Gina making sure everything was in its place. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day because Gina was there to do all of the background work and she executed it all beautifully. With the planning process, she is super communicative and keeps you on schedule to make sure everything is booked ahead of time. She has great relationships with vendors and she recommended the best vendors to us (DJ, videographer, florist, etc). Every vendor we worked with repeated the same genuine sentiment "Oh, Gina's the best!!!" or some variation thereof...and it wasn't hyperbole. We aren't from the San Diego area so we knew we needed a planner that was local to help us and Gina was the perfect planner. For those wondering the process, you have an intro call with Gina to go over your vision for your wedding. We discussed vaguely what we were envisioning for our wedding. I can't express this strongly enough...TOUR YOUR VENUES. We met her on the tour of the 5 or so recommendations and ultimately decided on the La Valencia hotel that day. (The best venue ever!!!) Following venue selection we had a handful of emails and calls discussing vendors and people she has worked with. She will give you a number of recommendations but it is up to you to ultimately decide. She is available and quick to respond if you have any questions and will make sure you have everything you need to make sure your wedding day goes perfect. On the wedding day she helped our vision come to life and made it look even better than we could have imagined. Everything was beautiful and everything went according to schedule. We had no stress on our wedding day because we knew Gina was taking care of every single detail to ensure our day was everything we wanted and more. Sonya is very professional and we have trusted her many times to help bring our vision come to fruition. I give her a theme, a color palette, and all creative freedom to make our venue "pop" and it always comes together beautifully at the end. Main photo backdrops are always a main attraction and she brings the showstoppers, giving every one of our parties that wow factor. We have also used some of her background arches/custom boards, and various party rentals item from the a la cart menu, which even included a bounce house! It's a great one stop shop for your party needs. The balloon arches also last awhile, we have brought home arches to hang up at our house post parties, and they've lasted up to an extra 4 months! Sonya is always on time, easy to talk to/ plan with and really listens to what you want your vision to be. Heather was wonderful from our very first call, and we appreciated having the flexibility to choose between partial or full planning. We ultimately chose partial planning based on our venue, Kijamii Overlook at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and she found us incredible vendors to complete our day. We worked with Rachel and Jordan and booked about 1.5 years in advance. They were communicative and very flexible with my multitude of changes throughout the year and a half working with them. I was even able to add a cake tasting and cake later on and change certain rentals very close to wedding date. They were patient and accommodating and willing to make just about anything work! My guests were incredibly happy with the food and the service, and my husband and I absolutely loved the waiter assigned to us on wedding day! The only thing that went wrong was half of our string lights (required by DH) went out for the entirety of the seated meal due to an installation error. I'm not docking any points from rating as this was a genuine mistake and WTC reached out to their EPR contact right away to have them return to site and get it fixed. It did take about an hour+ to resolve but WTC was very apologetic and even provided a a partial refund for the lighting. One thing we were bummed about was that cake service occurred during the main dance floor time and if cake wasn't accepted from the server, it was a missed opportunity. According to my guests, about 90% of people didn't get cake as it wasn't left on tables and most people were on the dance floor. 2.5/3 sheets cakes remained at the end of the night. One big win was TWC was so organized and accommodating for the many dietary restrictions/allergies we threw at them and served our guests appropriately. We received no complaints and guests and family said it was handled seamlessly! All in all, my husband and I were so pleased with our decision to work with WTC and will forever cherish the role they played in making our day amazing!

He walked us through all the different decisions that we needed to make, while making wonderful recommendations. He has a really helpful app to organize music and made sure each aspect of the ceremony and reception were covered. Dax worked closely with us to make our wedding and reception exactly what we wanted it to be. He played the "must have" songs and did a great job of emceeing to ensure everything moved along on schedule. Of course, we had some last-minute changes in the schedule thanks to an unexpected snowstorm, and he adjusted seamlessly. Everyone had a great time, and still talk about the dance club portion of the evening. As an added bonus, Dax made a custom shirt in our wedding colors featuring the faces of our cats! It was such a hit! We opted for the diamond photo booth package. The photo booth pictures were fabulous. Dax brought along an assistant to run the photo booth who is also very friendly and fun. We got to meet with him three times and even squeezed in a last-minute meeting which he was so accommodating since we (bride and groom) were behind on the planning on our end. From the first meeting he was just so kind and we all clicked. He took song requests at the wedding which we allowed but he even asked us first if some of those songs were ok to play. Soo awesome! There was even one song my husband's friends wanted to play from their earlier partying days at LSU that had an explicit title, and he asked me first (the bride) if it was ok to play. I was like of course yes please play it haha but I really appreciated him asking me Cannot thank Abel enough for making such an epic wedding and his setup was so cool! EVERYONE raved about DJ Abel and still does when we talk about the wedding. He played such great songs, and the dance floor was a hit! Our guests were dancing the whole night!
