Intimate music venue with great ambiance. I've seen two concerts there and will be going back.

Now you're talking!!! A cheesy touristy roadhouse dive bar right off the highway? Yes please…read more Anyone who goes to the Cracker Barrell next door is fucking crazy. The Brat Stop is the kind of place dive bar dreams are made of. Your options are to sit at the bar (recommended) or one of the booths in the cavernous restaurant areas. There are neon signs everywhere and they play great classic rock music. Our waitress was fantastic ... and older woman whose name should be 'Flo' and was right on the ball. The food is bar food ... Wisconsin comfort food. I had the cheese curds with dipping sauce, which were really good. I have never had fried cheese curds before so I have nothing to compare them to but I thought they were yummy. I had the BBQ brat with sauerkraut and German potato salad. All fantastic ... maybe a little overpriced for what you get ... but really good. I didn't necessarily leave feeling full for $20 but enjoyed my food. They have craft beer on draft from Wisconsin and Illinois. There is also a giant shop attached with local beer, local food products, apparel and of course a really long case full of Wisconsin cheese. Again ... overpriced but it saved me a stop at the Cheese Castle nearby. Overall, this place is the perfect stop off the highway, right in between Chicago and Milwaukee. There is also a stage and seating for bands. I really enjoy places like this. It's kind of like something out of a Tarrentino movie.

The rooftop is a true standout, a great view of downtown Kenosha and a lively, laid back atmosphere. A varied menu and drink list provided something for everyone. A really nice find and local favorite.

This is in the downtown area of Kenosha, within walking distance to Lake Michigan. The restaurant is in an old building and is decorated in a very neat style with really cool overhead lights and the back bar is very cool. We got a table quickly and I noticed they had a private event they were hosting. Our server greeted us and took our drink order. We ordered Crab cake sliders as an appetizer. My wife ordered the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp and I ordered the Pork Belly Bahn Mi with fries. our appetizer came out quickly. This was three sliders served on Hawaiian rolls. the crab cakes had good flavor. I liked the chipotle aioli was very good and paired well with the crab cake, house made pickles and pickled red onion. It took quite a while before our entrees arrived. I know it was Friday evening and they were packed, plus they were dealing with a large party, but I think the only reason we got our food when we did was because our server, who was also a bartender, noticed we hadn't gotten our food. He brought our entrees out and they looked good. I immediately noticed my food was cold and had been sitting for a while. My wife commented her pasta was cold as well. The fries were house made, but cold and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi sandwich was cold and the roll was getting hard, like it had been toasted and sat for a while. I'm guessing our order got made then over looked by the food runner. Regardless, the sandwich was good. The pork belly was tender and the vegetables were fresh. I wish the Jalapenos had been more pronounced, and I wish the roll wasn't so hard, but still not bad. The fries would have been awesome if they were hot. I would like to give them another try when we return to Wisconsin.
