Would have rated higher except for the small pours for whiskey. Exactly a shot not a drop more.

Good bartender. Owner stepped on customers business and was way rude. Power trip. Dumpy, dirty bar.

J.J. is only nice to patrons who give him cash. Not a good way to get more business...

Went for the Dread Crew of Oddwood show. Good tap selection. Comfortable location for an intimate show.

I've never felt more at home than at mcauliffe's. It is by far the finest racine has to offer.

By far my favorite spot in Racine for wings. Their famous grilled wings are to die for - added tip,…read moremake sure to get a side of mild sauce for dipping. It definitely gives sports bar vibes with all the tvs and cheap menus and what not, but this is why I love this place. Service is typically good and what you would expect and they always have some deals going on. Definitely recommend going for a football game, but of course, you will be waiting a little longer.

There didn't seem to be anyone smoking so I am not sure where that smell was coming from. When you walk in you seat yourself and very promptly a very sweet waitress welcomed us and she brought water. I ordered the chicken wings, and my gf ordered a breakfast burger and we ordered some fried cheese curds. The cheese curds were amazing. Honestly the best I have ever eaten. The coating on the curds was very light, basically a dusting of coating but they were delicious. My gf's burger looked good and she said it tasted good too it had a soft egg, bacon and cheddar cheese on it. You could see the egg running down the sides of the burger. I got my chicken wings just fried with teriyaki sauce on the side. The wings were pretty good with no real coating on the chicken. The chicken was good but nothing spectacular. The best part of the whole lunch was the fantastic waitress welcomed us had. Lunch was by all means good, if I had just had the curds I would have said it was the very best. The other foods brought it down a notch but I would go back and try something else!

The special was a grilled cheese and meatloaf sandwich (with a side of their special pineapple coleslaw) The sand- wich was large was toasted to perfection. It even had pickles on it. It was different and seriously delicious!! My daughter-in-law had the mac 'n cheese with chicken strips. It looked amazing. The portion was so big, she had to take half of it home. The salads are huge and one of those will be my next choice. This bar as been around for years. (the owners retired) There is live music often and there are two area with tables, one in the primary bar room and another where the band would be. There are also booths along the back wall. The bar was clean and the new owner, Caleb, was very friendly. I bet people don't think of George's as a lunch or dinner destination, but I highly recommend it.

Lots of live music, and the joint really does get jumping! It has everything a music venue needs. The area around the stage area is expansive. The other feature, is a bar area off to the side, so if you need a break from loud rock and roll (but who needs a break from that!) to chat with your friends, there it is. Friendly bartenders, great drink specials, nice pours, CLEAN BATHROOMS. They also have delicious Heineken 0.0 if you do not wish to imbibe (as I did not on the night I was there), but still want to look and feel like you're drinking a beer. Try that too! At Georges!
