The process was quick and easy. Scott came out and we walked my property to get the perfect design for the irrigation system. He made sure to cover every square inch of my yard. Quote came in by end of the day. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule to have the irrigation system installed within a week of getting my quote. Josh and his crew did amazing work on the irrigation installation. He was very helpful and informing me of what they were doing in the 2.5 days they were at my residence to install the system. He answered every question I had. The yard repair after the installation looks great as well. They checked all the boxes compared to the other companies: price, communication and experience. The experience was great and I 100% would highly recommend this company over any of the other "top" competitors. If you are in the market for an irrigation system, reach out to Scott and GrandView, you will not be disappointed.

I obviously saw the installers most, and they worked quickly and efficiently and share progress at major milestones and communicated breaks, work left to be finished that day or the next, etc. To say I am happy with the results is only half the story. I had quoted the same work previously and GrandView provided more detail and a very competitive price.

We had GO Irrigation install our system last summer…read more Things were a bit rocky from the start. After confirming a time for him to come by for an estimate after work, he didn't show and we had to reschedule. Despite this, we selected him out of several companies in the area as the system he proposed was a Rain Bird system that was fairly priced compared to the other companies I had contacted. He also touted their system as self draining, which meant I could shut the system down each fall without having to pay someone else to do it every year. After selecting GO Irrigation, scheduling and communication started to be hit or miss. We scheduled install date about a month out from when we accepted their bid, and I made arrangements to work from home so I could be there when they needed access to the garage to install the controller. The scheduled date came, and they never showed. After waiting at home for him and his crew to show up, I finally got in contact with Gil about half way through the day, he apologized and said they were running behind on their previous jobs due to the heat. He said he would knock off some of the price (about 10%) and committed to the install the following week. The following week came, and there was yet another delay, again attributed to his crew having to deal with the heat of the summer. When they finally did get to our installation, he showed up at our home the afternoon before the scheduled install to run the lines through the yard. The machine he used ended up leaving oil spots and gouges on our driveway and sidewalk. They did not put any kind of grass seed over the areas where the lines were pulled, and here we are a year later and they are still bald areas all over our yard from them. The crew showed up the following day (mostly college aged kids, no Gil in sight) and went to work on the install. After the install was complete, his crew walked me through the operation of the system, which is a great system and fully automated. They said they would be back in the fall to show me how to shut down the system for the winter. I later noticed the valve box they installed in the back yard was in the ground crooked, and they assured me as it settled it would straighten out. Unfortunately, we still have a crooked box in the ground in our back yard. Winter shut down went relatively smoothly, with some scheduling and communication issues that I had become accustomed to with Gil at this point. This May, around the time the backflow test was needed and after several rounds of rain I happened to notice the ground around the valve box in the back yard was very wet. I pulled the cover and found the box completely filled with water. I reached out to Gil to see if this was normal, he assured me it was covered under our warranty and he sent one of his guys to check it out. Apparently, while he was checking it out one of the pieces broke, so a replacement had to be ordered. Same song, different verse. After several delays they were finally able to get the repair completed about a week later. However, the valve box was still full of water a month later and I reached out to Gil to make sure there wasn't a leak or anything else wrong with the system. He sent his guys out a second time, and after draining the box they said it was just ground water and charged me a $100 service call fee. All in all, the system itself is great. The communication and service from the team at GO Irrigation leaves a lot to be desired.

We had been looking for an irrigation system and we're planning on the install in the Spring. We…read morewere trying to get quotes before Christmas so we could reserve an installation date next year. Some companies were already booking out to summer! I sent a web request for a quote and I received a call back about thirty minutes later! We talked about dates in the coming week and I wasn't going to be around much. Gil said he was right down the street finishing up one job and said he could come by for a quote now if that was alright. He stopped by, explained his system (he installs self-draining, which as a DIY oriented person, I liked so I don't have to rely on a company to shut it down each year), and provided a quote on the spot. Then, he said that due to the unseasonably warm weather he was still doing installs. I booked with him the following week. Gil showed up the next week as scheduled with his team. Most of which have been there for a couple years and are college aged men and their brothers or friends have worked for Gil. Gil was on-site and oversaw the entire install, teaching the trade and supervising. He walked me through the install and how the system works and then showed me how to shut it down. I'm the spring, he'll come out, show me how to start the system up, and fine tune any adjustments. Very impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism. Highly recommend!
