She was very efficient, and her attention to details was just amazing. My curls look great! She gave me tricks and tips on how to take care of my new do and how to keep the curls in shape. On the other hand, the staff at Beauty and the Balayage were super friendly. Annie as very accommodating and knowledgeable too on hair grooming and hair care! I love how she listened to what I wanted (maybe regardless of her professional opinion) and aimed to get that for me! AND SLAYED. Kayla was so so so sweet!! When she moved to SLC a couple of years ago, I would see her every few months when she was back home. Now that she's moved back to Orlando, she can never get rid of me! Ever since Megan has been doing my hair I have gotten so many compliments and random strangers asking for my colorist's contact info. A few things to note: Color that looks this natural and flawless takes time. Expect to be at the salon for a couple of hours, but fret not, Megan is a great hang! She's traveled the world and lived everywhere, so don't be shy about your own travels and places you'd like to visit, because my girl has got recommendations! I can't recommend this sweet soul's work enough. She's an artist and will not lead you astray (or let you lead yourself astray with requests for color that won't suite you). Pro-tips: 1- Get yourself a drink from downstairs (the Hammered Lamb). 2- Make your next appointment at the end of your last one so you don't miss a refresh!

I'm mixed and have had a hard time in the past finding stylists that knew how to cut my hair without leading to a total disaster (I once walked out a salon with my hair one inch shorter than the other side, and no I wasn't going for an asymmetrical look). I had finally found someone I loved a few years ago, and then of course I had to move away. I LOVE my hair shorter and took years to find the perfect cut to frame my face. I have had a lot of stylists that were hesitant to cut my hair as short as I was asking for or missed the mark as far as the shape of the cut was concerned. Nicole really listened. She looked at every picture, confirmed what I wanted, and even went back and cut more at my request. She was great from start to finish, had reasonable prices, and I will definitely go back to her in the future when I need a trim. Her styling was great, and she cut my side bangs perfectly, which is rare (I don't think even my last greatly loved stylist was able to do it in a way that it curls towards the back of my hair and blends in the way I like it to). The styling was included with the cut, which was really nice. I will have to see how the cut looks with my natural hair the next time I wash it, but I have no reason to doubt that it'll be just fine.
