First off I cannot thank him enough for giving me the flexibility with everything going on in my life when we 1st met with the different pay options, etc. Without the treatment he provided me, I would not be where I am at today. I think its been about a year or so since my last treatment and I can say I am still pain free. I have been able to complete a couple rounds of P90X one as a super modified version as more of rehab and core strengthening and another where I was able to go at it and get back in shape. I am just finishing up my 1st round of P90X2 in preparation for Tough Mudder (Google it if you don't know what it is). Again, a big thanks for everything he did to help me get back to living normal again.

Together, we came up with a plan that included adjustments and massages with Krista, who is a fantastic masseuse. After a few weeks, I was feeling noticeably better, and the before-and-after X-rays made the improvement clearly visible. At the same time, I had been struggling with my forearm after tweaking it while doing curls. For nearly a year, I saw a physical therapist and even received a PRP injection, but nothing seemed to be relieving the pain. Dr. Brent recommended I try laser therapy, and after about six sessions, my forearm was feeling great. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it on other areas that have been giving me trouble. Whether you're dealing with spinal pain or any other joint pain, I highly recommend the team at Total Spine Maple Grove. I made an appointment online and was excited for my evaluation. The "club" aspect of paying a monthly fee and then walking in whenever you want sounded great! I arrived to signs on the building asking everyone to wear masks for the protection of self and others, but when I walked into the Mind and Body office no one was wearing a mask. Not the doctor, not any of the three patients, and no masks or hand sanitizer, nothing. And there's more, I've been to two different Chiropractic offices and I am used to them servicing multiple patients at a time. What I am not used to is it all being in one open room where everyone is just laying on a flat massage table waiting to be serviced. I'm used to my own space with a minimum of curtains, hot packs, bolsters, or a motorized roller chair to loosen me up prior to adjustments. Looking around the room, I didn't see anything that made me think these prep options would be available. The doctor approached me at the reception desk and hastily outlined the documents for me to fill out. They appeared to be mostly about joining the club and no Anatomy page to note personal problem areas, no health forms about past surgeries etc. This last comment is my personal perception and not a fact, but my gut told me that the Dr was very uncomfortable and possibly even offended by my anti-racist t-shirt. The t-shirt simply says: "Hi, Don't be racist, Thanks." I obviously can't make any definitively factual statements about this, but after clearly reading my shirt (which you can see takes about 2-3 seconds tops) he kept flicking his eyes from my shirt to my face and back to the shirt. It was definitely distracting to him and I felt made him uncomfortable. That's what I have to say about my 5 minutes in this office this morning as I simply wrote on the intake papers that the office was not for me as no one was wearing masks and left.

Keith had been treated by Dr. Knight at Abundant Life Chiropractic Center for whiplash after his car accident, and Keith kept stressing how thorough and extensive his exam had been there after his accident. Then Keith informed me that Dr. Knight had a massage therapist on staff there, and Keith described how he would almost fall asleep during Lynn's relaxing massages! My experiences at Abundant Life Chiropractic Center have exceeded my expectations! My initial exam was very thorough there, just as my friend Keith had described. The most impressive part of of my initial exam were the 'motion x-rays' that Dr. Knight took. With those x-rays Dr. Knight was able to show me (by laying or stacking one on top of the other), where normal vertebrae should be, versus how my vertebrae were actually sitting! There was no question that I'd sustained a whiplash injury! After just a few adjustments, my headches went away completely, as did the sensation of electric shock type of pain that travelled down my right arm, and commenced in a tingling sensation in my right hand. I live 30 miles away from Abundant Life Chiropractic Center, but the drive has been worth it due to the healing that I've experienced after my car accident in January! And my friend Keith was not exaggerating when he told me how relaxing Lynn's massages are, and I've actually fallen asleep more than once! For my entire life I've been receiving chiropractor care close to where I live, as needed, to maintain my health, but in this situation after my car accident, I believe I made the right choice to travel to Chanhassen for my treatment. Another amazing thing that sets Dr. Knight at Abundant Life Chiropractic Center above all the "other" practioners, is his commitment to educate his patients about maintaining their health. He holds regular FREE Seminars on topics such as nutrition, and I can't wait to attend his next seminar scheduled for June 23rd!
