Weird, I would have sworn there was one review for this place previously. It must have went bye-bye.
The wedge is connected to Antioch U. As a student there, I'm happy that this is the cafe we have. It's nothing fancy, its a little small and you can see the whole bookstore, but the tables are sizable and the students mostly grab and go, so I've never had a problem sitting down. This is also primarily a graduate school, so the crowd is more on the mature and studious side.
The coffee isn't the best ever but its really good for the price, and sometimes its right on. They have juices, snacks and sandwiches here too. I'd rather get a sandwich here than the nearby Top Pot or Cafe Bella, because they are bigger, better, and cheaper. The service is super friendly and really fast. I think I might feel a little out of place sitting in here if I wasn't a student, but not just picking up a sandwich and coffee. The downfall is that it is a little out of the way. I'm also not sure if they have their own wifi, or if I'm still utilizing the school's when I'm there. Despite the fact that I do not spend a lot of time in the cafe, its the wedge's coffee thats going to get me through a couple years of long days of classes. read more
