Well....playing catch up so here is the short of it. They didn't have the stone at the mounting event. Brian didn t call to make us aware so we drove there for nothing. Manager stepped in and made sure a stone was ordered. The following week the stone came in but it was clear the color was weak although the stone wasn't laddened with inclusions. The stone was purchased with the idea it would be returned if a better stone was found. We found a better one at Coastal Jewelers...MUCH better.

I honor work and pay for quality. Which I did pay but I wouldn't recommend this place to get gold fixed. He claimed to not want to charge so I wouldnt do this but I don't see how he would allow a piece of jewelry to walk out his shop like this I took it in for a fix and he said "I'm human not perfect" also said he's been in the business for many years but it doesn't show in the work he does or he just doesn't care about quality. Stones are loose and he couldn't fix it. A fine jeweler would recommend and find a way to get things done or send you to someone who can make it happen. Don't judge people by their appearance, you don't know what it's worth to them personally and how much they are willing to pay.

You meet the smiling man who actually does the work and that is important when you have a special piece and do not want to ship it somewhere to have it worked on. We also use them for battery replacements for watches and exercise bands since not everyone in this area has the tools. One Saturday the owner was away and shop closed so we wasted time going to 6 other jewelers in area for a battery. No luck elsewhere but 5 minutes when he reopened we were all fixed. Years ago I even had him engrave saying on an old wedding band. Really a one stop shop for all our jewelry needs, just call before you go!
