I got a hot turtle latte and a sausage egg biscuit
Lexi M.

This coffee shop is cute and cozy and everything you'd expect from a local coffee shop! My actual coffee order was good, and I also ordered the sausage and egg biscuit and that was pretty good. The service was really fast and I was impressed because they were busy for a Monday morning. I'm hoping to return at another day and time soon!

Met a friend here for lunch. What a cute place! The decor is country/retro- spacious and very comfortable. We each had a sandwich. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The food was tasty and the portions were plenty. I will definitely go back and try the coffee next time!

Large toffee coffee. broccoli & cheese quiche

Such a cute coffee shop. Quite a bit of room. The coffee options are amazing and they also have good food options. I opted for one of the seasonal coffees and a quiche. I had to go to Washington and needed a place to stop in to work for a couple hours. The staff was friendly and it did not take long to get my order. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Iced Raspberry Mocha

Love the atmosphere and the selection of drinks. I ordered an iced raspberry mocha. The flavor was great and had just the right amount of sweetness.

Visiting area for 2 nights and knew I needed to make it here. Eating a yummy quiche and drinking a London Got tea which they call River Fog. Highly recommend both and to have a sit and just relax for a bit

Nestled in the beautiful city of Washington sits a coffee shop worthy of many more than 5 stars. This shop was well decorated, the barista was well versed and made my selection to perfection, and the sweet treats were fabulous. If given the opportunity I would surely stop in again for another cup of joe, and so should you!!

I loved this place! A very good find. The interior was extremely spacious with room to spread out and find a comfortable table to sit a while. There are a variety of seating options, which were very welcoming. Each table had a different unique set of novelty salt and pepper shakers. Our drinks were very good and they have some unique flavors. I had never heard of river fog, it's like a London fog, but with added lavender flavor as well. I didn't try it this time because I wanted a classic, but I think I may try it someday if I ever go back. The Biscuit Stack was an amazing creation and I'm so glad I got it. It is basically biscuits and gravy but with cheddar cheese and sausage patties on it too. It came out steaming hot and very tasty. I very much enjoyed my time and food here!

Such a cute coffee shop! Great place to hang out with friends or do some work or read a book while eating yummy food and drinking delicious coffee! The Wonderland Mocha IS SOOOO good, I ventured away from my typical pick and glad I did. The biscuits are definitely made from scratch and really good. Lots of tables to sit at and a few couches and sofa chairs if you want to get a little bit more comfortable.

First, I love the location and vibe you get stepping inside. They have a lovely outdoor sitting…read morearea and comfortable seating inside with plenty of views of the river. The staff is always friendly and welcoming each time I have visited and overall feeling you can spend all day in this place and feel at home. I came today to try their coffee flights. Then theme was St Patrick's. They are small which is perfect because anything bigger would've sent me flying on the sugar! Each drink was different and thoughtful. The flavors blended well with the coffee. I would've liked to have tasted more of the coffee but I have no complaints. This round of flights was tasty with my favorite being the Lucky Charms which tasted like they infused cereal milk into the drink and the Clover with white chocolate, peppermint and vanilla with that striking green hue. They change their flights often, so give them a follow on FB and Instagram to keep up with what they have next.

Cool place, definitely would go back whenever I am in Washington. Service was quick and friendly…read more The egg on my sourdough "egg toast" was perfect, with the yolk soft but not runny, and the white cheddar cheese was nice. I had a Dirty Chai, which I really loved: espresso, chai spice and steamed milk. It was just the right sweetness. The building used to house a hat factory and they have examples of them above the doorway to the restrooms, which were clean and bright, like the rest of the place. Just kind of a cool place all around, and like I said, definitely would go back again! Close to the Amtrak station and the riverfront, and in the historic area of downtown Washington.

A major highlight on our most recent Katy Trail adventure, and I'm already looking forward to…read morereturning on the next one. One of the best parts of the Katy Trail is you blend remote, pure nature, with surprising and fun little stops that pop up throughout the journey. We had zero idea that the KT Caboose had been taken over and was open for business, but man, we were very pleasantly surprised. Not only is it on brand, being a caboose on the former rail line, it's like it was truly made for cyclists needing a nice pit stop. Shady umbrellas, trail views, and nice restrooms make this a total win. We got some ice cream and French press coffee, two of my favorite things in the world. It was wonderful, and I want to emphasize that what I am about to say is not a typo: it was *UNDER* priced. Yes, you read that right. In an era where grocery bills seem to add +$30 every week, and my old Amazon staples have all doubled, this place was actually underpriced. I don't remember exactly but an ice cream sundae with fresh fruit, several cups of coffee, and a big ice cream waffle cone were well under ten bucks. Johnny, feel free to bump them up a bit because we want you to make enough and to stay open for many years, otherwise we'll leave continue to just leave some extra as a tip for you next time in. There aren't a ton of places on the Katy since it's so rural and spread out, but with spots like Meriweather Cafe back west in Rocheport, and this spot, they really shine bright and make an impact. Grateful to have them and can't wait to be back in on our June ride!

This place is really unique! I'm surprised more people don't know about it, it's in a caboose left…read moreover from the Lewis and Clarke railroad, this is definitely worth a trip even if you are driving from the city. I drove an hour and it was totally worth it, the prices are insane, great for brunch and there are also wineries near by, you could also bring the kids or grandkids and ride bikes on the Katy Trail or even go camping.
