I just got back…read more The world should know. I"m not the same. A week ago I attended a 5 day retreat/workshop titled "Acting and Being". Really, I am not too into the whole meditation hoopla, i just thought getting away would be a good thing to do for my birthday. Well well well.... I ordered a lamb shank and received a whole herd! This place is trully magical. Hidden away in the forests, with rolling hills, and mysterious ponds, on top of the world resides Jean Claude van Itallie. http://www.vanitallie.com/ I met Jean Claude when he was putting fresh flowers into the workshop tent. He was wearing a cowboy hat, leopard pring underwear, and bright yellow crocs. Ladies and gentlemen, we are not in Manhattan anymore. eri Anyway, we camped, but Jean Claude does offer housing for a reasonable rate inside his AMAZING and GIANT cabin. We were fed 3 delicous, organic meals a day by the sweetest ladies who run an Inn down the road, studied, meditated, and experimented all day long, and had a few hours rest in between which I personally spent swimming in a gorgeous lake. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT? Oh ... wait.. and our two instructors aside from Jean Claude, were Rae C. Wright and Parlan McGaw who were both knowledgeable, full of energy, and kept us on our toes. There is info on the webiste about upcoming workshops and retreats. Treat yourself, go away from the concrete jungle. This isn't just for actors or meditators. Most people just needed some time to heal. sljfslkfj so excited. I WILL BE BACK SHANTIGAR!

No privacy no curtain! The workshop for the two days was very expensive, around four hundred dollars and did not include your sleeping arrangements. You had to find a nearby bed and breakfast or you could camp in the pasture with no bathrooms provided. Unless you wanted to brave the walk to a no so pretty port a potty. The man who owns this foundation has a large ego. He looks around 85-90 years old and runs around in tight speedos, crocs and sometime a shirt ... not a pretty site by any means. I think he still thinks he is twenty years old. The only thing that was beautiful was the land. Take your money and go to the National Parks and you will have achieved more.

I worked with this organization, and it was a horrible experience. After our initial interview,…read morethere was minimal contact as they don't answer their phone messages. Sarah told me that they responded to emails, yet I didn't get much response at all from my emails either. Also, they are not trainers as they have college students 'train' the dogs, yet Sarah geys a salary. My communication, or lack thereof, definitely worsened my condition, and frankly, I don't think they really care about people with disabilities. I finally received $5k of the $8,500 paid, just to get away from their organization and work with a reputable one. I have never written a negative review on anyone before, but I felt this was definitely needed to spare others.

When we entered the building we were warmly greeted by the staff who quickly signed us up for a membership and provided us with all the programming they have at this location. We enjoyed the thoughts of playing volleyball as well as taking advantage of their work out equipment and open swim hours. In the end we are happy that we have a membership to this YMCA and we think that the staff here does a great job of supporting the members here in their journey to health and wellness.

I asked if we could get the original design in laser done and I would pay for the much nicer design. She refused to get "involved". Bottomline if you want a drawing don't have this company do an etching. Due to my wife and me trying to find all the free libraries we can find this was right on our route…read moreduring our trip. Very glad we stumbled upon this one. I will say if you are basing your finding of the location on this free library through the little free library it is incorrectly marked as at the Postal Service building while it is actually located in the parking lot of 1MTN. That is located right off of Vermont Route 100. During our visit here we found a good variety of books. Lots of different genres and stuff for all ages. I assume due to its location/proximity to businesses should mean a good amount of book swapping. My wife left a book that hopefully catches someone's eyes in the future. She also picked up two books while I thought one sounded interesting enough to grab. It follows the story of someone who loses a leg due to an accident who needs to overcome this difficulty, which during this journey the girl becomes friends with another girl with cerebral palsy. This friendship leads to new perspectives. To me it sounded like it could be a good quality book! Otherwise there was a pre-algebra study book, a baseball book, some romance novels, as well as plenty more. Both me and my wife were super happy to have came across this particular library and hope the book we left gives someone the same excitement.
