My girlfriend had these sent to me at work today for my birthday. They are amazing!! The cookies are large and soft and warm oh and DELICIOUS!! The box had a dozen amazing cookies, and she even included a little thing of milk!! The milk was cold and fresh. I work in a pediatric clinic, the whole place smells like fresh baked cookies. My girlfriend (who doesn't even work here) is now the popular person in my office. No idea what she paid for these, but they are a huge hit with myself and all of my colleagues. I would highly recommend this service. It should be noted that I am a bit of a food snob and have low tolerance for poor quality or subpar food. These cookies stand up to any cookies I have ever previously had the pleasure to eat.

SWEET WIN # 303! I defeated the Ultimate Ice Cream Sandwich Challenge at the Warm Cookie in Lincoln, Nebraska. Contestants have 30 minutes to finish the challenge. I finished in 27:42, receiving the $50 meal for free, & a tshirt! The challenge consists of 20 cookies (10 flavors, doubled up), 10 servings of ice cream, whipped cream, cherry, & sprinkles! The included cookies were the following: chocolate chip, gluten free CC, cranberry white chocolate, snickerdoodle, M&M, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, sugar, monster, & the 'Rachel' (butterscotch, oatmeal, & CC). Yum! All I can say is these are some delicious cookies. They actually arrived warm/hot which was surprising considering it was in very low temps on this winter day. I tried the cranberry white chocolate cookies and the et were so good! An unexpected flavor combination that was well worth it while celebrating a coworkers bday. These are fun, special and oh so good! I definitely will look forward to having them again and trying other flavors too! read more

Let me start by saying. I actually haven't eaten one of their cookies BUT I have been on the sending side and I love it so much. Ordering is easy, reliable, and the recipients rave about how yummy the cookies are. From the sending side, a dozen cookies is about $20 to have delivered to anywhere in Lincoln. Forget someone's birthday until the night before? A friend had a bad day? Just want to make someone happy? I don't live in Lincoln but have many friends and family that do and it is my new go-to for everything. read more

You've gotta love a cookie place that's open before 10am. We were passing through on our way home from a road trip to Yellowstone and my spidey senses to sniff out a cookie place found us here. We got chocolate chip, m&m, Snickerdoodle and butterscotch chocolate chip oatmeal. All were warmed up (obviously) and were perfect to help us continue our journey. We both agreed they could've used a little more chips (I couldn't taste the butterscotch in mine) but still very good!! read more

We are traveling from California to Iowa to drop my friends daughter off at college. Followed the route perfectly until the maps suddenly took us a strange way, lucky for us, when we got lost, we ended up in the parking lot of The Warm Cookie. We were hungry and excited for a cookie. When we got to the door, it was locked. Suddenly, the door opened and the owner said to us, I just closed a little bit ago, I can give you some cookies. Wow, lucky for us! I sent my son some cookies when I knew he'd be at home. They arrived in a cute box with a ribbon. The online ordering system was very easy and convenient. The order did arrive about 30 minutes early though so give yourself some wiggle room. I'd suggest adding some flavored milks to the menu as well. read more

From the Business

History

Established in 2014.

The Warm Cookie started in the kitchen of Milestone Catering in The Grand Manse in December of 2014. The owners also started the Engine House Cafe in Havelock in the 1990's and are well-known for their delicious sweet treats. Soon after opening "The Cookie Lady" had to hire additional employees including her husband who had to retire to help keep Warm Cookies in Lincolnites bellies. In July of 2016 they opened their first storefront and expanded their business to accommodate growing demand. They are Lincoln's only Warm Cookie and milk delivery service with extended carryout hours.

Meet the Business Owner: Tricia W.

Although Tricia had played the role of successful wife, mother and entrepreneur, she never felt like she was "somebody" until she became Lincoln's favorite "Cookie Lady". THE Cookie Lady started her business after seeing a successful cookie delivery company near her daughter's college internship in Texas. With similar services popping up all over the country she figured it was Lincoln's turn to get in on the fun. It started with just her making all the dough, baking every dozen, and delivery each by hand herself, mostly to family friends. Her recipes were family favorites she had been baking for decades and ones that she had tirelessly perfected. Word spread quickly and business grew. She is proud to now support many family members along with her "cookie family" with her thriving small business.

Champurrado, tamales, bolillos, and more are available as well. There was also a refrigerated section with mini tres leches cake tins, including a biscoff one that tasted phenomenal (I inhaled it in less than a minute). They even do custom cake orders too. And it's all very affordable. Will definitely be back for more!

It's located at the hay market in an old building along with other businesses. Not only can you indulge in yummy ice cream, you can explore different shops and restaurants after! The employees were friendly and probably annoyed at me for not knowing what I wanted lol. So I ordered the mini ice cream flight with six different flavors. My favorite was the peppermint brownie batter. They also offer samples which is a plus in my book. :)

My spouse wanted to know what I wanted to do for my birthday and Baker's Candies has been on my…read morelocal "bucket list" for a while so off we went. It's about a 30 minute drive from Omaha and we had no problem finding it. My first impression was that it was way bigger than I expected and totally worth the trip!! I regularly buy Baker's chocolates at the grocery store but there was so much more selection and the prices were cheaper. For example, the bag of Patriotic Mix was $12.95 while it's usually $16.99 at Hy-Vee for the same thing. Besides the chocolates they are known for, they also had a large selection of saltwater taffy, fudge, and a ton of other candies, some I haven't seen since childhood. In addition to candy, they also sold a lot of locally made food stuffs like Rotella's bread, Mi Mama tortillas, Valentino's, Dorothy lynch, salsas, dips, jams, jerky, spaghetti sauce, you name it. They even had t-shirts, hats, and a refrigerated section for various meats. It was really cute inside and a lot of places for photo opportunities. There was a bench inside and a covered patio outside with a big parking lot. The staff were quick, efficient, and friendly. Glad I finally got to visit this place and I will be back again when my sweet tooth feels the need. :)
