The donuts were delicious and of course I had to get the whale-shaped one! The cream in the cream puff was probably the best I've had. And the lady who makes the donuts was very kind and helpful. They had a lot of ocean themed trinkets and goodies. The only addition I wish they'd have would be espresso to make lattes versus just drip coffee. And of course I find a lot of things I don't need, too! One of my favorite t-shirts came from here; it's got their store logo, which is an adorable little steampunk anglerfish. I'm so obsessed that I got a sticker with the same logo on it this trip (also, they have a lot of awesome stickers). On top of that, the staff are super friendly and welcoming! There's one delightful woman who has been there the last couple times, and she's a joy to chat with. I wish I had asked her name. I work retail myself, and she exudes the same warmth I try to give to all of my customers, too. It's not always an easy job, but you can tell when someone genuinely wants to make customers feel at home in their space and takes pride in their job. Also, I'm really obsessed with coming back and getting an anglerfish sweatshirt now.
