The windows drew us in at Nye Beach, just a stone's throw from the ocean's edge, and we were delighted and glad that we crossed the thresh hold. We were met with a sincere and friendly welcome and this led us to begin our exploration of this gem of a shop. My wants and needs were met with the purchase of a bar of fragrance free hand soap that was hand crafted in Oregon, the perfect gift for a fragrance intolerant neighbor who was collecting our mail whilst we were away. We experienced a high level of engagement and left the shop feeling very good about our visit. Good quality food and portion sizes. Some things were larger than expected but we already had the intention of sharing with not being extremely hungry and coming here as a lunch stop. Cocktails were yummy and not straight alcohol tasting which I loved. Really nice people and even the cleaning people who came around and pre bussed asked if we needed anything even tho they visibly weren't a server. Good lunch spot for a couple or family. Family may be pricey but there is indoor and outdoor seating and outdoor is perfect family sized. Dogs allowed too read more

When you go in to a tiny shop, filled with gifts and beachy items while shopping with a friend, you expect to be greeted or even acknowledged. Sadly, the woman behind the counter didn't bother looking up the entire time we were there. There was a young girl in there working as well, who kept to herself. The place is tiny, so it's awkward being completely ignored. When we walked around to the back half of the store, I even had to say excuse me so the girl could step aside to let us walk by. Being in sales and customer service my entire career, I was appalled. I saw a couple things I thought about buying but I refuse to reward non existent service. I won't be back. read more

This store is run by some racists. Nothing else to say. I was on a walk and checking out the little shops in Nye Beach and walked into this shop since it looked cute from outside. Two older white women were at the front desk area - I came in friendly saying "hello!" and smiling. They both looked up at me (an Asian American), said NOTHING, and immediately looked back down at whatever they were discussing...I was pretty stunned. It couldn't have been any more awkward. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and since I was already inside, I decided I'll just do a quick lap and leave. As I'm doing that, a group of 4 elderly white folks walk in and the two women shoot up and each joyfully greet the group with a "Hello!" And "How are we doing today?" YUCK. read more

I am not sure why this place is getting such bad reviews. I had a really great time looking around here. It's seriously my kind of store with a bunch of different things you can buy from your beach trip or some special lotions and potions for great prices. The service was pretty great and honestly I like the fact that there's a variety of price points for every budget. read more

This is a cool store and the woman running it was very nice. The adult themed cards were really funny and some other things are on our maybe list. My hats off to these stores that run even outside the busy season. I know it's slower, but we still try to go to every store and be a patron of the establishment, even if it is only something small. read more

This is a very cute little store on the corridor leading to Nye Beach. The owner is an artist and sells many of her creations at the store. She also carries a wonderful selection of whimsical and beach themed children's items like bags and games. But most of the store is natural and imported soaps, lotions, candles and other scented beauty products. Everything is in beautiful packaging and would make a lovely gift. Throughout the store is a fun collection of mermaids! White, turquoise and blue, signage, artwork and useful items. There are sweet makeup bags, jewelry, and plenty of other girly items to browse as well. A delightful little stop on the way to the beach! read more

Two stars for being cute, otherwise it would get one star. We rented a beach house nearby for a week. My husband and daughters popped in here one morning while in their way to grab coffee and breakfast. My daughter's mentioned that when they walked in they said Hi to the woman working and that the woman hardly acknowledged them. They didn't spend hardly any time in the shop. So today I decided to check it out because they have cute stuff in the windows. I should add that I know a few things about running a storefront, I own a boutique in Bend. Upon walking in, the woman was on her phone. So I quietly said hello and smiled at her. She made eye contact letting me know she was acknowledging me. No smile, no "I'll be right with you", none of that...you know, normal customer service. I brought in two of my daughters, I kept them in range and continued to quietly (wouldn't want to interrupt that important phone conversation..which was clearly not business) tell my girls to keep their hands to themselves and to stay with me. They did a great job and didn't touch a thing. I spent about 5 minutes in the store, and not once did the woman speak to me. I even made eye contact multiple times. Upon leaving the store I turned around and said Thank You with a smile..and the woman didn't even turn around. So rude. Friendly customer service goes a long way..and even boosts sales, just an FYI. read more
