For restaurant only: Great food, not unreasonable prices. Kids enjoyed their pizza (and with chips! Americans aren't used to fries with their pizza, so that's a bonus.) Good lamb shank and pasta. *Can someone explain why Coors Light is so damned popular there and why it's served in a glass filled with ice? I must have seen 6 people doing this and couldn't understand why a country that has Guinness, Murphy's, Smithwick's, Harp, etc. wants to waste its time on piss-water. read more

Grand solid middle of the road hotel, nice choice of breakfasts but the bathroom in our room was tiny. Room to swing a cat not! The room was to the front of the hotel looking out on the seafront. However, the downside was that late night revellers could be heard returning to the hotel with 'not a penny left'!! 80yoyos a night for a double room including breakfast which is about right methinks. The wifi wasn't working though which caused a bit of consternation for those who care about such things. read more
