    Shrimp and Toast. Booooo.

The service was MEH. We ordered the "Prawns with Garlic Bread" which was actually cheap already pealed shrimp and toast. Boooo.

Came in for lunch after doing the titanic walking trail. Service was AMAZING. Lunch however had mixed reviews. I had the fish and chips and it was beyond greasy. The grease almost squirted out of the fish when you cut into it. The My husband had the prawn salad and that was absolutely delicious. I'm giving it four stars because of the service. I'd come back and have the prawn salad for sure.

The service was all right but the ambiance was cute! We waited a little long for food but they have a nice drink collection. Right on the water so you have a great view, with a deck too. The opinion on the food was varied, the pasta being the worst and the chicken fajita being the best. Overall pretty good!

There are not too many places to eat waterside in Cobh so we were pleased to find The Quays. Good service, very tasty Prawns Pil-Pil (which I had as a main) but limited and somewhat pricey menu.

Went back to The Quays after a prior visit a year and a half ago and I was once again impressed by the quality and depth of the lunch menu. As I mentioned in my original review, most lunch items are less than 10 EUR, and if you're only interested in sandwiches, then you're only talking 5-6 EUR. The outdoor patio offers one of the best views of the water, and on days like today it affords you the luxury of seeing off a departing cruise ship!

Good location on the water and friendly service. Food and drinks were alright, a little overpriced for what it was.

First time here, honestly, extremely disappointed. The food was great but the service was horrendous. I won't ever recommend.

Great food! The shrimp start was delicious. My daughter loved the kids fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. The staff was very kind!

Good food, centrally located, and beautiful view. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the dinner menu was a little limited.

A favorite spot for the freshest fish and chips around. Just a little walk away from the main area is this find.

I've been here a few times now which speaks to the quality of food. When you walk in it's a very clean restaurant. Outdoor seating that unfortunately allows smoking and smoke does occasionally blow in through the door. Other than that the ambiance is immaculate. Good music, clean bathrooms and a clean looking kitchen what more could you ask? The service is one of the few shortcomings of this restaurant. We've been there a few times and a couple of times it seemed like the service was a bit slow. We have had to remind the waitstaff what we ordered. They're always polite and apologetic about anything missed, but they are a bit slow fairly often. The food is unimpeachable. The taste of almost everything on the menu is amazing. The portion size of the menu can be a bit mismatched. I'm not that hungry of a person but a single sushi roll will not suffice for your average appetite. Be prepared to order multiple courses or a few sides but it can add up fairly quickly. I usually get the hot roll and something else but it usually comes out to about 45 euro or 50 usd. It's a good restaurant but be prepared to pay a bit more and wait a bit longer. Delicious though!
