Haven't been impressed with the quality of movies or shows. What you all did to Indiana Jones was dirty. How could you?

We sat down got all comfortable with our popcorn and drink and noticed it was super dirty inside. A few minutes later they asked us to leave so they could clean. Strike one. Strike 2 and 3. The escalator down was broken. The bathroom was also closed. They were sending is across the street to In and Out or to Barnes and Noble. I just held it the whole time. A reciepe for diaster. The attached parking garage is so convenient, that you can literally park just steps from the entrance. They have a full BAR that serves mixed drinks as well as beer, in addition to the concession stand stocked with all the sodas, snacks and food you could want. If all that isn't enough, the theatres are the nicest I've been to, hands down. Always clean. The seats are HUGE and well spaced, so you have lots of privacy, and about as Covid-friendly as you can get with our new normal, of on-going space desired amongst strangers. The seats all recline, and are super comfortable. I feel upper class every time I come here. Best movie watching expereince ever!

Compared to other theaters I like this spot because it's more affordable. You can pick your seats when you purchase your tickets which is great. Theater is 2 stories, with a concession stand on both levels. They have the usual movie theater snacks, popcorn and drinks. The popcorn is not bad nor was the pizza but not amazing. The theaters themselves are big and spacious. The seats recline and you have so much room. Sometimes it can get a little chilly so bring a jacket. Overall great movie experience.

We saw it in theatre 5 and upon viewing other reviews, SOMEONE ELSE had this same exact issue/experience in the same theatre 10 days prior! Meaning there was no extensive cleaning done at all. On top of that, I hated that the screen for our movie was up so high you needed to crane your neck up to watch the movie even when being fully reclined back all the way in the seats. The popcorn was stale with no flavoring and I put a bit of butter because I didn't want too much fats. The pepperoni pizza was surprisingly good and cooked well. However, the rest of the experience made this movie theatre a 1 star for me instantly.

There are no hand sanitizers available for visitors to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between visitors. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty decent, but I was warned by a friend of mine to park on the street and then walk on over because getting out of the parking lot can be a pain. I did check out the parking lot even though I parked on the street and walked on over, and it is massive and the spots look spacious. I was there during a private event, and all the spots were taken by the time I got there, and I also got there early. So many visitors had to park on the street anyways. Always read the signs when parking on the streets. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. The main theater has a digital console and superb acoustics. I recently saw Avatar: Fire and Ash in 3D here. It was an invite only / private screening with a Q&A event. So fricken cool! Dope viewing experience! Heads up, the women's bathroom is on the left right when you enter the building. Men's bathroom is on the right. My biggest gripe about this theater is why would you only put 3 stalls in the women's bathroom?!? The line before and after the film was hella long. Disney, please fix this issue. Even the men's restroom line was very long before and after the movie. The film was 3 hours and 17 minutes long, so everyone was scrambling for the bathroom after the film had ended. Please do better, Disney. Staff: The staff here are very nice, welcoming, friendly, and courteous. Security here is pretty good. Overall experience: I would LOVE to come back again for a private screening and Q&A. Ben, if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO FRICKEN MUCH! You are THE best! When you are feeling much better, I will give you a massive hug.

If you choose the garage, the theatre provides four hours of validation at their machine, so just make sure to scan your parking ticket before you leave. Bathroom: The bathrooms were relatively clean and fully stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, and everything else you might need. This was a pleasant surprise since I came late at night around 10:30 PM, and usually by that time everything is running low. WiFi: They offer complimentary WiFi, which was great. Recliners: - The reclining chair was comfortable, although it made quite a bit of noise when adjusting it, so I'd recommend settling into your position before the movie starts since it can be distracting. - Each seat has a pull-out table that you can extend or fold inward, giving you a mini table for food and drinks. It was extremely convenient and something I've never seen before. Super cool! View: We sat in F7 and F8 toward the back and had a clear view of the screen. The picture was clear and the audio sounded great. Drinks: I ordered a medium Icee and it was surprisingly large. Cons: My main complaint was the behavior of some guests who were disruptive throughout the film, constantly on their phones and even playing videos out loud at times. When they left, they also left trash, food, and their drinks scattered all over the seats and floor.

Happy to say, virtually nothing of the classic "Egyptian themed" decor has changed. Karloff's mummy would feel right at home. Tarantino is definitely the right guy to have purchased it. Among other pluses, there's a handprint and signature gallery outside, obviously referencing The Chinese, but with a much hipper roster of honorees. Then, there's the stated mission of screening only film prints. Caught the "Kill Bill Saga" in 70mm and, a few weeks later, the return engagement of P.T. Anderson's "One Battle After Another", this time also in 70. It had originally shown there in Vistavision, the format in which it was shot. Anyway, I live in Atwater Village, so it's just a few minutes away. I plan to return often.

You're sitting in history when you're here!…read more THEATER: Here's a fun fact from the Vista wiki- it was designed by architect Lewis A. Smith, and presents a hybrid of two different styles: the exterior is Spanish Mission Revival style, and the interior is Egyptian Revival style- which reminds me a lot of another Hollywood theater- the Egyptian. I went to see Kill Bill: the Whole Bloody Affair. Unless you have "parking powers" activated, add a half hour onto your commute time to arrive and find neighborhood parking somewhere within a mile of this theater. I found a spot in a nearby neighborhood by a school. Back to the movie KB:tWBA-- I hadn't seen Killing William since its initial theatrical run, so it felt pretty new to me. THE MOVIEGOING EXPERIENCE: This movie still hits hard in a packed theater. Lots of reactions and laughs and groans, etc. I was probably laughing the hardest at how much FEET were in this movie. The seats were comfortable and that's judged by my shifting around only two times that I can recall. Thankfully this movie had an intermission to stretch during its 4+ hour runtime. I went during this exclusive December engagement and there's a lot of memorabilia on display in the lobby. There's a lot of snack and food and drink options, and it's pretty reasonably priced. Also, bring your own snacks! No one is checking bags and pockets here and the world is getting pretty expensive. The Vista is in a hip part of town and there's a lot of great eats and drinks in walking distance. We dined at Fred 62 after!
