This place is absolutely fine. It's intimate enough for a slap-up with your sweetheart and cool enough to go with a bunch of mates. The staff are all amazing, and on the level (ie, like real people who are willing to have a laugh and joke with you, especially as this place physically can't get that packed). The atmosphere is further aided by them playing cool music, in a kind of triphop vein last time I went for a sitdown meal. I used to go here fairly regularly for takeaway burgers (with oodles of garlic mayonnaise and blue cheese dressing - by far the most amazing combination), which are some of the best burgers I've tried. They cost about a fiver with chips, and I guarantee that they'll fill you up. Satisfaction is what the Walrus does. read more
