Living 100 miles away from Murray and having no contacts in the Murray area, we chose Team Spann…read morebased on the number of positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. Mick and Becky were always quick to respond to our every concern throughout the home shopping and then buying process. I was apprehensive about purchasing a property so far away from my home, but Team Spann made the process effortless. From helping coordinate inspections, submitting and responding to offers and counter offers and counter counter offers, right through the remote closing, they could not have been more attentive to our needs. We closed a month ago and they are still being helpful with providing contacts for service providers. It's unlikely that we will purchase another property in the area, but I would highly recommend them to anybody in need of a top-notch realtor, and when we are ready to sell our Murray property, Team Spann will definitely be our choice.

Before you deal with this company (as a buyer or seller), ask yourself "why am I considering…read moreworking with them?" Are you absolutely certain that you know who you are dealing with? As a buyer, I can tell you that I personally will never make another offer, EVER AGAIN, on a property that Kopperud represents. You decide for yourself though.

Last year, I purchased a property from Tracy Williams. She sold me part of another person's…read moreproperty. She advertised a 2 acrea parcel of land and only a little over an acre was for sale. The rest was legally owned by another person. The description of the property on the deed had the wrong diminsions and was the incorrect shape. I was living in San Diego at the time and had to put a lot of trust in Ms. Williams. She had falsely advertised something she did not have to sell. I was buying the property while I was still living in San Diego, CA and my sister and her husband were helping me to learn about the property. I sent them the money to pay for the property with since I could not be there in person. I was not able to physically be on the property until after the purchased was finished. Prior to finializing the purchase, Ms. Williams had my elderly and very disabled sister and her husband sign waivers regarding any problems with the property. They did not even know what they were signing. My sister said she pressured them to sign the papers when they did not know what they were. Both are close to 80 yrs old and extremely disabled. There was no way they could walk around the property in 4 ft grass and see where the previous owner had burned off the north face of the mobile home. My sister could barely get up the steps to get inside the mobile home. The fire department had to put it out, yet the waiver said he had no knowledge of any fires on the propoery. The electricity was not turned on and they could not possibly tell that the well did not work ($800 to repair) or the electric garage door did not work and the outlets did not work because the garage had not been wired for electricity. My brotherin law has Parkinson's, diabetes and glaucoma, affecting his ability to read. My sister had recently had a severe heart attack and had bad kidney damage. That is state mandated paperwork and I had been wondering where it was. It took me a while to find it because my sister did not know what the papers were or what they had signed. She just said they were pressured to sign the papers quickly and they did. There was no way they could have known about all the damaged part of the property that they were pressured to sign off on. Ms. Williams had to have known this just by seeing the physical shape both of them were in and knowing there was no electricity to be turned on. I chose to buy this property because of the 2 acreas of land that Tracy Williams advertised that it had. That is the only reason I bought it. I did not want to live in a mobile home; but, I needed the land and chose it over other properties for sale. I needed help on this end because I was so far away. I have large number of rescued dogs & had plans for setting up a small dog santuary, amongst other things. Only recently did I find that the property is not even as large as it was specified on the deed and only when I arrived at the property did I find it to be more than 1/3 less property than advertised. This has been a nighmare for me. My sister, brother in law and myself are all elderly and disabled and all of us had to put a lot of trust in Ms. Williams. The ads she had for the property were very inaccurate and misleading. I would never recommend the real estate person to anyone.

As a property owner/manager myself in Illinois I am completely disappointed in their practices. Upon my daughter fulfilling her lease we had her apartment professionally cleaned and everything was in perfect order upon our departure. She was charged a 5.5 hr cleaning fee, charged for all service calls that were made during her tenancy, furnace filters, light bulbs, and a dumping fee when nothing was left behind were also charged. This company is taking full advantage of our students. One of the joys of renting is not having to be charged for a service call if items that were provided become inoperable.

They just…read morewent up on rent 100 a month "do to utitlity increase" i called all utility providers for my Apt (opportunity drive & Vintage hills area) and asked how much utilities went up in the past year. All of them said none except for tv and it was $5/month. So $60 a year increase overall but they're collecting an extra $1200 a month off just me. There's over 100 units but we will use 100 for easy math. That's $120,000 a year extra that they're pocketing because of "utilities" I called them out on it but they said I was lying and that wasn't true and wouldn't really speak anymore about it while I had them on the phone. The side of my building had moldy green algae for over 2 years. My floor has glue coming through the cracks, it collects dirt hair trash etc. socks stick to it when you walk across. I called and told them I was done cleaning the clue (which had to be done every two weeks) and they told me that the glue issue was the builder's responsibility. I haven't had grass in my yard since I've moved in which is a nightmare in the winter time especially having a dog. Oh and anyone that can be forgetful about paying something on a particular day beware when they say rent is due the first there is no grace period on that. If it's not paid on the first come the second day of the month they're charging late fees. if you rent from them I recommend auto pay
